Looking at my Elite collection....it's seriously out of date in some areas. I mean real bad.
I'd like to see a new Elite set with just guys who can get an update.

Justin Gabriel
Tyson Kidd
R Truth
Heath Slater
Drew McIntyre
Or how about an entire set of "First Time in the Line" Elites
Roman Reigns (we know he's getting made, but still)
Jinder Mahal
Titus O'Neil
Darren Young
David Otunga
Curt Hawkins
I just want a complete roster of Elites. Especially since most can be 1 per case...if you have to balance it with other guys fine....but Kane gets 2 Elites in 3 sets but Swagger hasn't had an elite since series 5!
3MB together would be cool for one set. Not like they don't get TV time
Young & O'Neil are a perfect team for Elites...all you need is 2 shirts
I'd even want the Uso's as Elites.
There are enough collectors out there who want variety. and even casual people could see a cool figure of a guy like Tyson Kidd and want to buy it.

I thought about JTG too....but he wouldnt be high on my priority list. Same with A-Ry.
I think it's safe to say that Curtis Axel will be around awhile and should definitley get an Elite
Primo without Epico doesnt make sense though.
Actually what about a Tag Team Elite set...
PTP (w/ shirts and Young has his pick)
Primo/Epico (give em a set of tag belts like the battle pack)
Usos (matching yellow attire, and each could come with some kind of weapon)

I feel like E19 Kane was a complete waste of a purchase considering the next Kane is essentially the same and it comes with a tag belt. I'd love to see most of the guys listed above, but I think we'd be lucky to get half of those guys before they're released from the company/completely irrelevant. I know this is a common complaint, but why is Rey in E21 and already expected in the unofficial upcoming lineups? I'd much rather have a new CM Punk, a first in the line Big E Langston, updated Swagger, Kaitlyn, elite tag teams, etc... but Mattel continues to pound us with Rey Mysterio. How many Mysterios can the kids buy? I'm a collector, and couldn't keep up with all his figures, even if I actually wanted them. The Meijer by my house has had 10 E18 Mysterios for months, and they get nothing else because he won't sell. Why would we need more?!?

^^^^The shelves would get so warm, they'd melt. Reigns would be a good seller but five elites of nobodies in the same series would not do well at all. I'd buy 'em all though.
But wrestlers that need updated elites (based on everything up to elite 22):

I think PTP Elites would do well
I just don't see any logical reason why Mattel cant make basics & elites of everyone.
with the way they shortpack cases...it'd be so easy. enough collectors are out there, enough random buyers too.

This may sound crazy, but I do agree with pc83uk in the fact that they'd shelf warm like mad.
How about one set a year as an exclusive to ringside with just people like primo, Alex Riley.. Etc. that won't do well at retail. If the can do it for legends that are aimed a collectors, why not figures that us collectors sorely want.
That way we stay happy, and they're free to put out as many rey mysterios and we'll not moan as much.
