Now, we all know that Target foolishly has the same DPCI for all WWE Elite figures, so if ONE Elite figure is in stock, every Elite figure will incorrectly show as being in stock...
What my question is, is how accurate is the Target website in terms of showing if Elites are Out of Stock or In Stock IN GENERAL?
Example:
My Target currently has NO FIGURES, so when you go to the Target website and search for my store under any Elite figure, it says Out of Stock. This is correct.
So that I don't have to drive there every day looking to see if they finally got something new in, WHEN they do get new Elites in, how fast will it show up on the website as being IN Stock?
Again, I know you can't use the Target website to see if SPECIFIC figures are In Stock, I just use it as a tool to see if there are Elites IN GENERAL.
So basically that is my question: How soon after the next shipment of Elites to my store will Elites be listed as IN STOCK on the website for my store?
***********************************
*edit*
So like I said, the last few days, the Target website has said OUT OF STOCK on Elites at my store. Well, this morning I woke up at 6:30am and just decided to check the Target website, and what do you know, the web site says IN STOCK. SO I get dressed and run down to Target and am the first one in the door at 8am. I walk down to the toy isle, and what do I lay my eyes on? Freshly put out Elite 21 figures!
I bought Ryback, AJ, and The Honky Tonk Man!!!

I go to bed Wed. night it said "out of stock". I wake up Thur. morning at 6:30, it says "available". I go there at 8:00 opening, full case E21. Pretty good, eh? It's helped me out many times. Although a couple times the items hadn't reached the floor yet and had to ask someone to check the stockroom.

It shows up as being 'in stock' relatively quickly. Thursday night for example showed the Elites as being 'out of stock,' I checked Friday morning and they were listed as 'in stock' and went there and found all of E21.
You're not gonna find a Mankind in store currently unless someone returned one to a store. All of the Elites are tied into the same DPCI #. So no matter what figure they have on the site, it's not correspond to what the stores have, just if the DPCI # is considered 'in stock.'

Yea this drove me nuts when I started collecting. According to the website my local target was the Mecca of hard to find elite figures. Then someone on the boards clued me in on it. Target for me is gamble with elites but really solid with basics.

It's accurate on my first try. Saw another thread on the Target tip. Checked last night, got E21 today morning!

If it says "In Stock" it means more than three, if it says "limited" that means there's three or less. "out of stock" means none.

It was accurate for me. Said Out of Stock one day for Elites then the next day it said In Stock so I called first and sure enough they had stocked Elite 21, so that was nice.

Couple things to remember: listed as in stock doesn't always mean out on shelves. They could still be in the back. Second thing is accuracy isn't updated in real time. If someone buys out the whole stock it will still list as in stock for a while, but if its listed as out of stock, you can trust they are indeed out of stock.

If your Target has ANY Elite figures in stock, it will say that it has every Elite figure in stock.
If your Target has NO Elite figures in stock, it will say that it is out of stock of every Elite figure.
---
Also, the way the computer system works, if they're in the back, they'll be sent out on the shelves within hours. If the shelves/pegs are empty, stuff isn't going to sit in the back. Only overstock is in the back.

I tested it today. It listed every Target near me as "out of stock" but Lancaster, PA as "In Stock." I was passing through there today to visit family - sure enough, most of E20, and a few remnants of E21 on the pegs...
I was very surprised - but it seems to be accurate.

Dont believe anything on their site. They say they have every rare figure available at all times.

I just updated my original post to let everybody know that today I found out that the Target website is VERY accurate, but only if your store is OUT OF STOCK and you are waiting for new figures.
As everybody knows, all WWE Elite figures use the same DPCI code, so if you are looking for anything SPECIFIC, you are out of luck. But if your Target currently has NO Elite Figures and the web site says OUT OF STOCK, then the Target website can be a very helpful tool to alert you when new Elites finally do arrive. Obviously you have no way of knowing if it's the Series you are looking for until you go to the store, but it's good to at least have a heads up.
The whole time I was driving to the store I was saying to myself "please don't be Elite 20! Please don't be Elite 20!"....I lucked out and got all my Elite 21 wants in one trip!

Told ya, I did the exact same thing. You just watch until it says it was IN STOCK then you head to the store and get em!
