You obviously watch more Premiership football than me but it seems like no one's even coming close to scoring, let alone win. They're definitely lacking in the money department as though, despite the changes made in the transfer window. The links to the likes of Snodgrass, Fletcher and Austin is all just smoke and mirrors. In reality they struggled to spend more than what they brought in. Griffiths is a great signing at league level, but doubt he'll do well in Europe. They'll likely flop again next season and our Co-efficient will go up the crapter. And let's be honest, they're currently our only hope of doing anything other than embarrassing the country. Hopefully McInnes can make the group stages of the EUROPA but that's some ask. If there's a Scottish game on, chances are I'll be watching it. If not, it's because I'm at an Aberdeen game. I've no idea how Celtic have managed to keep a clean sheet for so long. I'd guess van Dijk and Forster are the main culprits. Ambrose is terrible and at the moment they don'e have a right back. They might not be able to spend on players in January, but did they really need to? They'll get their prize money at the end of the season and be able to strengthen then in the hope of getting some kind of moderate success in the CL. Griffiths isn't a great signing and hopefully his shenanigans will disrupt the team in every way possible. No doubt he'll score goals but the Hibs team he shone so brightly in were absolutely terrible. At times he was their only glimmer of hope. We're 28 places off of losing our 3rd Europa League spot so the coefficient really doesn't matter. Ideally we'd have 2 CL spots but 1 does just fine. I can see us getting to the group stages which will be atrocious for my wallet and savings. Hopefully we keep the core of this squad (Anderson and Robson I assume will retire, straight swap for Considine and Jack) and it's strong enough to really make a good go of Europe and the cups next season.

Oh what a day! So glad Lennon's little mind games didn't work. If anything, they actually riled us up more than it did them. What a noise. What a game. What a team.
I don't think I've ever seen us favourites to win a cup, never mind bloody two!

Hibs can gtf. Raith. ING. Rovers. Wow. To be fair, the ref was shit, but he gave us things he shouldn't have as well so can't just blame him. They should have had a red though as the ball was about to go out of play for a throw in and the Raith guy punched it out deliberately and the ref gave us a free kick. Surely deliberate hand ball is a sending off? Oh well what ever, we're crapanyways.

I remember a few years back being in my local and Tommy(from Sunderland) saying we were gonna walk to the treble every year..... I said we wouldn't and I was laughed at.....laughed at I tell ya. Celtic are lazy at the moment and are playing some uninspired stuff. The double would have been nice but F*ck it, it's all done now.

It must be difficult to inspire a team to perform every week when everyone, everywhere is telling you that you've won the treble before the season has even started. What doesn't help is when you have your manager and captain discussing who they want in the next round before they play the 2nd favourites in the competition. Lennon has never seemed to learn to be humble in the media and I really think that this comes back to bite him in the hoop (pun totally and wholeheartedly intended) more often than not. That and zonal marking. That system has put you out of both biggest cup competitions this season. Seeing Kaka totally unmarked at Celtic Park was embarrassing and the same happened in a different position with Rooney before our first goal.

We're never, neeever staying up if we can't defend leads. Its rare we go in front this season but we can hang on to it. We need points. Aberdeen will either hump us or narrowly win depending on how we play but the next weeks most important. County away. We need to win that, badly.

Have you noticed any difference in playing style lately? A lot of people at our end seem to think with things getting more desperate that the good football will stop and the St Mirren's football ruining style of play.

For that alone you deserve to stay up! St Mirren need to go down. Lose Lennon and come back with the ability to play football. Their performances against us lately have been turgid.

I have high hopes for tomorrows game PudgieTheSheep , if we play like last week but actually defend well then you never know. Although you've beat us three times this season so with that I'm still kind of scared of a doin.

Robson and Hayes look to be back so we should be up to our best. Hopefully that's good enough. With Motherwell (at the moment) losing it gives us a right chance to make second our own. Hopefully the game's entertaining with the most deserving team coming out with the 3 points.

Hopefully the game's entertaining with the most deserving team coming out with the 3 points. If Gallagher had been sent off and you'd have scored the penalty, you'd have cruised it. I thought you were excellent in the first half while we were sloppy in possession. Second half we were different class, best I've seen us play in months. We could have had a few more to be fair, but to finally win at home and to beat the second best team in Scotland in my opinion makes it all the better!

I'm very much unsure as to why it wasn't a sending off and why we didn't get another penalty. That's the breaks though and I think there was a massive shout for a penalty for Thistle as well. It was a game I went into hoping not to loose but after Motherwell's result last night, it doesn't derail our season.
Partick really deserved something out of our games this season. It's amicable how even in the toughest of times there's still proper football being played in Maryhill and teams will hopefully take inspiration from this if St Mirren go down. They were speaking on the radio about how much of an animal Goodwin is. I really don't think that this is the type of player we need to be having in our league. It's always been rough league but thugs like him make it look worse than it really is.
All in all, Partick were the better team today. For the first time this season I really feel as though we were outplayed by the better football side. Whether that was down to us being bad, Partick being good, or a mixture of both is each to their own. I'd say a mix of the 2nd and 3rd options.
On a side note, why must we always talk down the SPL? People are saying that the only reason Forster has the clean sheet record is because the league is so bad. If that's the case, then why does Van Der Sar hold the European clean sheet record in the "best league in to world"?

Love that Griffiths scored against Hearts today. Was there a shout of offside. Haven't caught the highlights but I'm sure that was said on the radio.

Fantastic day yesterday at Ibrox. We have been playing awful recently so was expecting to get beat around 5-0. Somehow the players turned up and played the best they have played in a while. Not seen the replays since but we I feel we got lucky with a couple of decisions and Rangers had a couple of great chances but thankfully we got petty much our whole seasons luck in the one game. I know Rangers fans won't be happy with their performance but it was a great game to watch.

I'm totally dumbfounded as to how we've managed to sell over 30,000 tickets for the final already. Looks like we could reach 40,000 as they aren't even on general sale yet. It just shows how starved of success the club has been in recent years.
Should be a massive boost to Hearts who get 1/4 of the gate for the semis and the final iirc.
