Get in there Partick!! Great 3 points to get against Hivs. Killie and probably County losing would make it a great weekend for The Jags.

Great performance today, both on and off field. Fans were terrific, loudest we've been since Morton. Great to get the win! How's the optimism for tomorrow? I honestly think you'll annahilate them, they've been dodgy lately. Will be watching, go on Aberdeen!

Wow. What a day. I assumed I'd have a sore head but apparently winning the cup eradicates all showings of a hangover.
Ecstatic doesn't even come close. As they say, good things come to those who wait... and by god have we waited!

Inverness tomorrow, after the last 3 weeks results I'm actually looking forward to it. Why can't we beat them again up there?

Please do! 2nd and 3rd are still all to play for and the longer Hughes' bad run goes on the better. I can see the same happening with Dundee United as they're due a dip on this season's form. The split's going to be one of the most exciting for years with: 4 teams chasing Europa League 4 teams in the playoff place and Hibs and St Johnstone for top 6 pre split. Hell Hibs could even be dragged into the playoffs too!

Bad result last night for us, really needed Aberdeen to beat County. Still its only a point. Even worse, Celtic WILL win the league at Firhill tonight. They haven't destroyed us this season and we were the better team at Parkhead but with the title up for grabs tonight I fear a pasting. It's not gonna impact hugely on our season, but with County getting the point last night, I'd kill for anything against Celtic. St Mirren losing to St Johnstone worked out in what could have been a very bad night for us had the results differed.

Pretty much as you were again this week, ing Killie with a 95th minute goal though. Heey Pudge, funny enough I met Paul Paton last night at a shopping centre. We were joking he should be in bed early to get ready for the game, then he scores! Coincidence? Absolutely! But still...

Knew it. To be honest Hibs deserved that, absolutely dire. Although the goal was most certainly NOT offside, absolute joke it was given as off.

We were joking he should be in bed early to get ready for the game, then he scores! Coincidence? Absolutely! But still... You should have kicked him in the shin and ran off. That was our chance to go a whoore o points ahead but thankfully (for us) Killie got that late winner. All in our own hands now and if we relegate Hearts on Wednesday and Caley get something against Motherwell then we should be well (pun wholeheartedly intended) ahead of the rest. Knew it. To be honest Hibs deserved that, absolutely dire. Although the goal was most certainly NOT offside, absolute joke it was given as off. Shocking decision. Hearts had one in the first half that McGivern played onside but it was nowhere near as bad. Maybe he was evening things up? Hopefully we'll do the job on Wednesday and get some retribution for that Champions League game. Should be a good game at least. Hearts always seem to perform against us. I'd love to see Danny Wilson cry. "Get it up ye ya sheep shagging bastards!" No! Get it up YOU Mr Wilson you Sevco sympathising scumbag!

We need to win tomorrow, can relegate them into the bargain. Inverness need to do us a favour against county.

What a weekend for us! I just hope that the good fortune continues for Monday.
If Hearts had played like this the whole season, god knows where the'd be. I wonder if it's just a case of the team finally managing to play together, or something else. Maybe Locke has had a nightmare motivating them with them having been relegated since the start of the season.
I can see the battle for 2nd going right down to the last day of the season. Aberdeen vs Motherwell for 2nd sounds tasty. Maybe even Dundee Utd vs Celtic to see if Utd can push into the Euro places if either us or 'Well drop points.
Fingers crossed I've got an expensive summer on the way!

Great win to round off a great round of fixtures for us. Terrific that Niall scored 2 great goals in the game before the semi. Pawlett looked like he was protecting himself a wee bit which is understandable. Can't wait for Sunday. Very nervous, but confident that if we play well we should win. All you can ask of the players is that they give 100%. If St Johnstone play better than us on the day then them's the breaks.
Also a special mention to Barry Robson for the ball he played into Rooney when he hit the post. Far superior to Gerrard's pass for Liverpool's 1st pen against West Ham.
Also a special mention to sevco. Fnarf, fnarf, fnarf. I'd estimate a 20x higher wage bill not including managerial staff. Fnarf!

I can't even be mad that we lost to Aberdeen. Niall's second goal was just beautiful.

Thread title needs updated again. Rangers obsession since 1872 thread. I think the fish and chip pawnshop cup got more attention from us last year. It was certainly a better game anyway. But yeah, whatever tides you over. What do you reckon your chances are against Utd? I can't even be mad that we lost to Aberdeen. Niall's second goal was just beautiful. What's your thoughts on Butcher? I thought he'd have a much bigger impact upon arrival than he has. The players just don't seem to be playing for him!

Thread title needs updated again. Rangers obsession since 1872 thread. Speaking of my obsession for Sevco 2012... Have you had a glimpse of the accounts yet? Income of - Staff Wages £17.696M - £17.616M That leaves £80k to run the rest of the football club. Now whatever team you support you can see that is unsustainable. Wages of £15M (must be round about there taking off McCoist, Durrant, McDowell etc) is in excess of 3x what Aberdeen are paying at the moment. Would you say that's value for money? All this spending leaves a very high risk of liquidation. This isn't scare tactics, you can't get credit from a bank, I assume investors would be shy in coming forward unless they gain something from it and you're another 2 years off from European football. Even assuming Europe was a possibility, you'd have to get through the group stages to make anything near a profit. Oh, all whilst beating Celtic's £30M team to the league the season before. Would you have had worse players at Ibrox now for financial stability once you reach the Premiership, or did it have to be a high class of player to keep the fans going?
