Well one that happened in the ring, that would have to be mentioned is Saturn beating the crap out of Mike Bell. It's been pretty much said, he was given the head trauma/Moppy gimmick as a punishment for the beating he gave Bell in the ring.

This one didn't happen but Almost did. So Shawn Michaels was refusing to job to Austin at Wrestlemania 14 so Undertaker began taping his fist and told Shawm if I didn't agree to do he right thing before he finished taping his fists they were gonna have a problem Both Shawn and Taker have denied this story, and I had a hard time believing it even before that. No matter how much of a jerk Shawn was, I simply can't see Taker wanting to pound a guy who was nearly crippled at the time.

oh yes Steiner had rage issues for sure....... are we surprised though?with that much stuff flowing through him its a true miracle he hasn't killed someone.and on that topic...... I'm surprised he's still alive. I certainly don't wish for that, but when I hear that a wrestler died, he comes to mind instantly as a prime suspect.

Yeah Shawn WOULD deny it. It doesn't exactly make him look good. And honestly he may not even remember it, he was so ed up at the time it wouldn't surprise me if he didn't even know it happened.

That Shawn/Taker story always makes me wonder weather its legit or not. I mean HBK was hurt bad knew he needed to leave and stuck around til Mania JUST to put Austin over. I know that he did alot of ed up things around that time but unless the incident occurred before the Rumble it would literally make no sense for it to happen. I highly doubt Taker would force a guy who was legit injured to agree to wrestle in that condition just to "do the right thing".

He'd been pulling crap for around 3 years refusing to put people over and screwing one of Taker's friends out of the company. With Bret gone, Taker was now the most tenured wrestler in the company so he probably felt it was only right that Shawn finally do the favour for someone.

Yes but like I said Taker doesn't seem like the type of guy that would threaten a guy that had a legit reason to not go through with the match if he didn't want to. Sure it would have ed up plans but had Shawn not been able to go at Mania who could really blame him. Hell just watch the match and it's very clear the man is in pain.

He was in a great deal of pain, but everyone knows HBK's record for vacating titles, rather than "doing the right thing". I can believe this to be true of Undertaker, as HBK was set for a long period out (4 years was longer than expected though), Austin was nuclear hot and the tide was turning against WCW, all HBK had to do was lie down, which he did and everything went as planned. Simples
You only had to look at the crap Michaels pulled with Vader at Summerslam 96, Bret at WM13, Bulldog at One Night Only & the Owen feud which he nixed, the guy was out of control 1996 - 98

Yeah, but the story wasn't that Shawn was trying to get out of the match, because of the back injury, it was Shawn not wanting to go out, wrestle, and put Austin over. He was trying to throw up a stink to have the outcome changed. It was Taker telling Shawn, you're going to go out there and do the job, or I'm going to mess you up more than you already are.

It just doesn't add up to me. He couldn't have gone over, he needed time off. Unless he planned to go over and vacate the title the next night or something along those lines I just don't see where the problem would have been. And I think Mania 14 is alot different from the situations like Bulldog, Owen, Bret, Vader, etc. Shawn never seemed to have a problem working with Austin.
I know he did have a problem with Tyson putting the shirt over top of him though.

If HBK had retained at WM14 and vacated the next night, it would make Austin look weak, the WWF needed the passing of the torch from New Generation to Attitude Era clean

There was some altercation between Ken Shamrock & The Nasty Boys IIRC. Sags and Shamrock had a tussle in a bar.....Shamrock went up to their room to apologise and pieces of crap that they were....invited him in & glassed him with an ashtray.I believe he still hammered the f*ck outta one of them. years later in late 97 when WCW & WWF were both in the same airport they were mouthing off at him again....only for Shamrock to corner Knobbs and and make him squirm in front of everybody.apparently the Nastys didn't have anbody in WCW to stick up for them The Nastys were true pieces of crap.Hawk & Animal had mega fun knocking 7 shades out of them in front of MSG at SSlam 91.
