Went to Walmart this afternoon to pick up some stuff, and was super excited to see one lonely BP22 Ryback/Jinder Mahal set on the bottom shelf...someone must have tried to hide it and the store put it back. Stuff disappears quickly at retail around me so when I found this I bought it IMMEDIATELY. Just got it home and opened it to find Jinder's right leg incredibly loose. Like I could hold it up and shake it, his leg would move freely back and forth. I've never had this issue with a Basic, and I was moving it back and for a little when suddenly the leg just came off! and not out of a peg or anything, but literally off! the leg peg is broken inside.....what can I do about this? am I screwed?

Call Mattel and get a voucher for a free figure. Otherwise I dont think you will have a leg to stand on, or Jinder wont anyway. You could make a cool custom Zach Gowen though!

At least you can use the extra knee pads for the RSC Hitman! But yeah, contact Mattel by calling or instant messaging with a representative.

I'm always worried about the leg stem of elites but I thought Basics were near unbreakable. I think I'd return it and try to find another pack. I hate repairing figures because in my mind I know it's been glued and not perfect then I end up buying a replacement anyways. Basic trunk split for reference: (not my pic. sorry can't give proper credit)

I had the same thing happen to two B2 Kozlov's. After the first I called Mattel and received a Manufacturer's coupon for the cost of a new one. So I used it to buy another which had the same issue of a fused hip which tore off when I went to snap where it was fused. The second time I just returned it for a third. Which I might add also has a fused hip, but this time I just left it as is and put him on the shelf. But the B2 Kozlov was the only Basic I had that issue with. Funny thing is when Mattel released their Green Lantern Movie Masters line I had the same issue with Hal and after I returned two of them I decided to open and check the new one out before I left the store it took four or five tries at TRU Customer Service desk to find one that didn't have a fused hip. But it seemed like over the last year and a half they had solved that issue in all their lines.

That's comeplete BS Chip. Hell I need another job. I wouldn't mind working on WWE figures all day. And id actually make sure any figures like this wouldn't get shipped out.

As far as the WWE figures go it was just the three B2 Kozlov and two Elite styled (DM Macho and Legends 1 Austin), but with other Mattel lines there were the 6 or 7 MM Hal figures, 1 Young Justice Aqualad and 1DCSH Steel. And all of them it was one of the hips. But like I said since the MM Hal's I've never had another issue with a fused hip.

You do realize you can just return it to WM and get a refund right? just tell them its defective. I am assuming you want that Ryback and just want Mattel to replace the Jinder.

Either take it back to the store or call Mattel and they will give you a free voucher.
