With the first E3 including the 3 main next generation consoles just around the corner, let's talk E3. Microsoft's last shot at redemption and Sony's chance to steal the show. I'm ready for it. If the report I just read is true, then Microsoft is scared. And rather pathetic iyam. The report said they were paying third party publishers to not show PS4 titles during the show or at their specific publisher booths. I know that SOUNDS farfetched, but I would not put it past Microsoft at all to do something like this. And if true, then nothing they can do will redeem themselves.. |

It wouldnt be the first time Microsoft has bought there way out of something. As a huge 360 supporter this really miffs me. Everything about this console is just bad. Unless they pull out a 'were just kidding!" card I see its sales not doing well. People say it will sell no matter what but that is pretty un true, PS3 didnt. It is now that it is fairly priced but for $600 it wasnt doing so hot.
In other E3 news please announce Fallout 4 and Half Life 3, nothing else truly concerns me, Just cant wait for it to be over so I can play Last of Us.

Half-Life 3....You have a better shot of Sony cancelling the PS4. For some reason, Valve just doesn't do third parts. Which sucks because I want Portal 3 and L3ft 4 D3ad 3. I'd not be able to play L4D3 though because they're not on PlayStation. Which is another weird thing. Why haven't those been ported yet?

And KillScene I'm in the same boat. I pre-ordered The Last Of Us on the PSN today so in less than 5 days, it will be downloading. I am so excited for this.

Uncharted 4, or maybe a sequel to the Vita's Golden Abyss would be nice. We already know about MGS5. I'd like a side story companion game maybe. I know that's not Kojima's foray but since he's all about changing stuff up now....ahem.....Hayter > Sutherland [although that was a surprisingly nice choice]....maybe we could get a side story game to go along with it.

This e3 should be a memorable one. It's the year to convince people to buy the new consoles...err, more than usual. Last Guardian seems like it may be reintroduced, surely reborn a PS4 title now. Been waiting ages for that one. I'm really excited to see what's coming this year for the next-gen consoles. Main ones so far seem to be cross-platform titles with the current gen - I think we're in for some surprises with the PS4/Xbox only titles. Smash Bros U just got confirmed to have a trailer via Nintendo Direct. Previously, it seemed like they were just going to talk about it and show screens, so this is going to be an excellent introduction. Super excited to see all the other heavy hitters for Wii U (3D Mario, Mario Kart, secret Retro Studios game,  ). I'm going to miss seeing their presser, but they've always had hit-or-miss conferences, so this might be a better way to convey their product. I know Miyamoto, as of last year, was working on a brand new smaller IP - perhaps we'll see that, too? Nintendo are way overdue for their next Pikmin-like new franchise/gameplay mechanic. We don't get big console launch E3s very often, so this should be good! |

I hope Nintendo shows Monolith's X. They already announced they will be showing a trailer for the new Smash Bros.

I want full clarification on everything. I want Sony to not rabbit hole the hard questions and Microsoft has made it pretty clear it is the Communist Console. Only thing that can honestly save Microsoft's ass at this point is something absolutely amazing like games will be priced at $30 or something. BUT let's not kid ourselves they will probably be $70 and I doubt they will announce game prices. Microsoft dug its own grave. Hopefully Sony does better, honestly we probably need a new console from a new company all together and not the Ouya.

I really think Microsoft is going to have a great game showing and I think they know they HAVE to.
However, the policies they have announced for the console is a big let-down to me. I mean I like to play a lot of different games, but I don't want to have to pay full price for all of them. It would be nice to able to rent some of them from red box...

Yep I have 60+ 360 games, no way in hell I'd pay full price for most of them and I used to have Gamefly.
I find it funny Spike is doing an E3 all access yet it ends before Sony's console reveal.

I was initially interested in Command & Conquer Online, as it appeared to be a sequel to G&C Generals, which I loved. However, now that I know it is a combination of all C&C universes, along with the fact that it has no campaign and is online only, I have zero interest in the game.
With that list, it's the first I'm hearing of Sims 4. Now I cannot wait. Hopefully it isn't as awful of a sequel as The Sims 3 was to The Sims 2.
Besides that, anyone got a list of confirmed games not to be at E3?
