I apologize in advance if this has been covered, but I am looking for a story about a guy that found a box in the woods with photos of kids getting government experiments conducted on them, and he finds the facilities out in the woods. I know that it's very vague, but I'd like to read it again and I remember a while back that it was mentioned in a Creepypasta thread. It had many videos, posts, and a blog dedicated to it. Anyone care to refresh me on the name of it? Thanks!

Oh man, I don't remember that story, but I remember that thread! It came up when I was home alone for the week. I was reading it at like 4am. The one that said at the end DON'T LOOK BEHIND YOU scared the crap out of me!

Why is it called creepypasta? It comes from "copypasta", which is basically huge blocks of text that are copied and pasted. (Get it? Copy? Paste? Copypasta?) From there, people started calling these long scary internet stories "creepypasta" because there were big blocks of text too, but they were scary.

I always read these things but didn't know why they were called that. You learn something new everyday.

If it helps, part of the title was "Project". The guy goes in the woods, thinks people are watching him as he discovers more and more evidence. I remember he posted the evidence online, and videos on YouTube of him looking through the woods surely someone else remembers this. It was big around 2009-2011.

Wait, there is a Creepypasta thread? Is there a way to turn pictures off on this site to where you can read the text, but not see the pictures.

It's not marble hornets, nor slenderman related, although it has similar design to marble hornets. The guy would post on a blog his findings as he explored the old government facility in the woods, occasionally posting videos of the exploration. It was odd.

I believe you might be referring to The Indian Lake Project... indianlakeproject.blogspot.com/Coincidentally, it looks like he was getting ready to start the story again, but it's been a few months.
