Yes!! Yes!! Yes!! I’ve been waiting for the return of the Main Event Mafia since the end of 2009. I hope they follow the same formula of having only World Champions. Here is the list of who I think should be in the group.
Kurt Angle – Il Padrino. The original Godfather of the M. E. Mob. Of course he should be the first choice without question.
Sting – The reason this is all taking place in 2013. Thank you, Stinger!!
Samoa Joe – As the only current TNA Star who was a former member, it’s only right for him to retake his place.
Mick Foley – What is Mick Foley doing right now anyway?? Since this is a Face version of the M. E. Mob, let’s put Foley in a suit and bring him out.
A.J. Styles – Look, he’s clearly not joining the As&8s, so let the Face of TNA join the Face Stable…again.
Rob Van Dam – If Undertaker and Triple H can do it, then RVD can get a haircut as well. It’s time to grow up and suit up, Robert.
Jeff Hardy – Jeff Hardy was dressed to the 9s when he was in Immortal, I think it would be a good fit for him this time around. Plus sunglasses in lieu of face paint works for Sting. I’m positive it could work for Jeff Hardy as well.
Mr. Anderson – Face turn for the @$$hole. Why not?? In Stable wars, turns are almost expected, right??
James Storm – Beer!!
Bobby Roode – Money!!
Austin Aries – He fits. A Double was born to be in the Main Event Mafia.
Now I’m not saying have all of the 11 World Champions listed above in the Stable, but I would like to see only these names in the group. Of course the Aces and Eights are going to need more members to even out the odds. I’m thinking this is wear Matt Morgan and other TNA SuperStars who have never held a World Title come in. I’m so excited!! I can’t wait another week for the formation and return of the New M. E. Mob!!
I wish I still had the Main Event Mafia ringtone from my old phone!!
Who are your picks??

You guys are right!! Foley is with the WWE and RVD isn’t with TNA. Roode is a good choice and I can see why Storm and Aries might not “fit in”. I too would like to see the return of some of the original members. A.J. Styles is doing the loner gimmick right now, but so was Sting and he joined the Wolfpack. Rampage would be an interesting choice. Jeff Jarrett would be a great addition and should be inducted into the TNA Hall Of Fame, but that’s for another topic on another thread, I suppose. It is going to be nothing like the original, but I sure hope they at least try and come as close to it as possible.

Did none of you hear sting? The whole reason he is forming the new MEM is because no one in the back came to help him. That means it wont be anyone currently on the roster including Joe, Angle, AJ, otherwise the angle is fked up in theory, which is probably what will happen or he'll bring in Hall, Jake the snake, Harvey whippleman, and kevin sullivan..woo hooo

I would go with
Sting Angle Joe Hardy Jarrett
Roode and Aries shouldn't turn face right now their heel stuff is too good.
Magnus, Storm, Gunner all wouldn't fit in, IMO
And Styles should stick to the lone wolf for a while till the big payoff.

Why would Sting include anyone that was at that show? He said he needed to reform the Mafia, b/c no one from the back had HIS back. Angle was there. Joe was there. These are guys that could have come out to save him. I'm not sure where they will go with this. Nash, Jarrett....they would work since there were not there. Styles could work as Sting could simply say he was being a loner and his head wasnt right. Sting would give him a family that would watch HIS back.

Yes this glaring fact keeps getting overlooked somehow When I hear Jarret/Nash I just kinda sigh. Jarret could have legit beef becasue of the whole sve "my company" angle. I think They'll keep Styles a loner. They could bring in park becasue technically he was knocked out, but that's a stretch. But Him and crimson undercuts what the MEM is based upon. So we're looking at RVD, another meh, Nash, Jarret, Steiner, Sting...OHHHH BOY! They might las t3 minutes in the ring with 8 members of aces and eights before one of them pulls a hamsting( looking at you Kevin Nash), or they need to ask for oxygen. I'm intrigued by the possibilities and hope it turns out decent, but i wont hold my breath.
