According to spoilers, the 3rd member will be revealed next week!! I’m not sure what the rules are on this forum about spoilers, but the 3rd member is another TNA SuperStar on my list of choices. I hope they continue the trend and stick to the original qualifications of being a member of the Main Event Mafia. I am loving the return of the M. E. Mob so far!!

It's so damn stupid that they're putting people in it that were in the locker room while Sting was getting beat down by Aces & 8s and didn't come to help him. The reason Sting said he was recreating MEM was because NOBODY CAME TO HELP HIM!

last night, for a split second I thought it was Goldberg then I realized it was just Angle. Letdown so far, not cause Id like to see Goldberg but cause Goldberg would be totally unexpected and a new idea, Im already not impressed.
I wouldnt mind seeing Styles join but that wont happen, mainly cause I see him winning the BFG Series and the title in October.
Jarrett would actually be a good choice cause he's been away for a long time and its been long enough that he could come back as a good guy and the people could buy it, he comes back to help save the company he created and such.
Hardy is doing his own thing and should stay that way I feel.
No Nash for gods sake, Im sorry but that's a good way to kill any angle. Same for Steiner, if he hadnt already burned his bridge that is.
Bring some main event-caliber guys that maybe havent been given a real opportunity to do so, or at least some former TNA main eventers, ex-WWE guys isnt impressive to me

Kurt Angle (Godfather of the New Mafia)
Matt Morgan (Enforcer of the New Mafia; Muscle of the Group)
Samoa Joe (One half of the New Mafia's tag team)
Magnus (Other half of the New Mafia's tag team)
The 5 of them as a group, I would say that is one elite group that could be on the same level as Aces and Eights any day

This is one of those moments where I feel like people on the internet are way more creative than what pro wrestling has to offer. Guessing ideas is exciting. What will actually materialize will likely be meh.
I thought the MEM sucked the first time around. So bringing them back now, even to stop Aces and 8's, isn't necessary imo. Russo rehashed his own idea in TNA and now TNA is doing it again when Russo is gone. Crazy.

It probably wouldn't have been good common sense, but it would have been logical. But the whole point was A) Sting specifically stated something B) In spite of that statement, people still made contrary assumptions. It wasn't a matter of one's intelligence but a matter of making an opinion based off of clearly stated facts. |
