Just curious, as I have for a while been interested in this hardcore ring. I've read on here numerous times about it being "the best non-real scale ring". How big is it exactly, and how does it look with Mattel figs? The thing that can really help me out would be pics of Mattel figs in the ring if possible. I'm not expecting many posts here since everybody is talking about The Shield figs, but any help is appreciated, thanks.

Here's my setup. I enjoy the Harecore ring. It's 13x13 against Mattel's 12x12. and It's not spring loaded....so it's not a cheap piece of junk. It's also, fully customizable, though finding the Jakks ring gear packs will be near impossible. Haha! The good new is that a lot of peeps won't dish out the mula for the pieces as it is a very niche item. These pictures might be better to get a good view of the ring its self.

Mattel figures are awesome for the Jakks hardcore ring, I use that instead of the scale ring

Great pics. The Hardcore ring is fine for Mattels, IMO. The ESRs are far too big for storage and display, no matter how accurate how accurate they are.

Depends on what you want it for. If it's to just display a few figures standing in it, it's fine. For playing, it's too small really, same as the Mattel basic rings. But it takes up way less space than the elite ring.

I have some updating to do haha Btw love your set up man, I have the smackdown ring skirt on mine with blue ropes. Which is also cool about the attitude ring, there's different ropes and ring skirts to add to it like Sundaynight Heat, Summerslam and Wm

Has this ring got the same articulation as the RSR (just not to scale)? If so, its deffo worth buying! The closest thing to an ESR/RSR without paying £/$150+

I've never tried the RSR posts, but everything else is compatible. I really doubt the posts will work.
I also have all the other skirts, ropes, and other variations. With the exception of the Booker T and WM 18 turnbuckles.
As for using for stop-motions..... ESR or RSR are the best to use..... Hardcore and standard rings are better for displays.
Oh, MR. Fameasser.... Glad you got that I was messing around, haha. I have an elite scale ring too! But, I don't play with my figures so I don't use it. I basically have it as a Trophy haha! It's awaits nice to be able to say you have one!

Haha its all good I'm doing animation on the jakks hardcore ring because I like how small it is, I know that's odd but I'm still a HUGE jakks fan \m/ When I'm done procrastinating I'll upload the newer yet old pictures haha just wait and see....

Can anyone with this ring tell me if the posts that come with the regular Mattel 12" x 12" spring rings would work on this ring? I like this ring but the posts and turnbuckles look way too dinky.

Back when i was into figs and really wanted my animation show stuff to start - I was obsessed with the Hardcore Ring, wish I had one. The rubber ropes, ring apron, actual placement for weapons - pretty cool.

I really wish Mattel can find a way to make one of those! Even though I have a ESR, I'd still buy 1.

I still use mine with crappy hulkamania ring ropes and posts. I just cant stand Mattels basic rings and cant afford a 300 dollar ESR online.

I have never used another ring since I got my Hardcore ring (outside of the 6-sided ring for a while).

At one point during the BCA days, I think I had 6 of these rings....All gone now. Not sure where they ended up.
