Remember when Revell made NASCAR Diecast? I have the 2001 Michael Waltrip Daytona 500 win and Kerry Earnhardt arca win in 1/24. Probably have a few others. Didn't they make test cars that came with stop watches?

I don't collect much NASCAR diecast these days, but man, I'm pretty sure I need the Dogecoin cars, they're just too silly to ignore.

It's still reasonable right now, hopefully it'll stay that way for a few weeks, 'cuz I'm a paycheck away from paying my car off with very little breathing room. I've also got my eye on the Dale Jarrett/Kenny Irwin Batman vs. Joker cars from '98, I got some promo stuff from that time 'cuz my dad worked at a Ford dealership, but I never got around to getting diecasts of them. They've been going for pretty cheap lately, so I figured why not.

I just saw Dale Jr's Baja Blast scheme on Facebook tonight for the All Star race. I don't collect diecast cars as much as I used to when I was younger, I just watch the races. But, that scheme is too beautiful to ignore. I might buy the diecast. Can anyone explain to me why a 1:24 diecast is $69 on Nascar's website, though? Since I've been out of the Nascar hobby, for an 8 inch car, I think that's a bit much.

Is eBay the best option, or is that the normal price range for a 24?

I read a great post on diecast crazy forum about why the nascar diecast industry is in the state it's in. It provided insight in to the distribution and sales issues. Great read. I knew the over production of diecast in the early 2000's killed the value, but I didn't realize how they were distributed to dealers would affect the product like it does.

Why are the Red Bull cars going for insane amounts of money? Red Bull requested them to be produced in lower numbers because that's how they were.
