Yeah, the guy I bought it from on eBay occasionally lists his customs and really rare cars and they're usually pretty good.

Best advice I can give you is... Don't. Customizing is difficult, expensive, and ridiculously time consuming. If you have the patience and time though, go for it. This car took me well over a month. The hardest part is the decals. Finding them and learning to use water slide decals sucks. They're so fragile. I've only ever done 1/24 cars so each one has about $90 worth of supplies invested in each. $35-40 for correct make and model car $25-35 for decals $10-20 in paint $5 in clear coat $5 in brushes It'll be a lot cheaper with a 1/64, obviously. Still incredibly time consuming. I feel ya there...I think the hardest part would be the decals on a small ass car. I did a few model cars when I was younger, Dale Sr, Tim Richmond, Brett Bodine etc and those were fairly easy....something that small would be a bitch For sure. 1/24 is hard enough when you get down to smaller sponsors or headlights.

I don't unless it's Scott Wimmer (because I don't have room lol). If they're loose and somewhat hard to find they sit in tackle boxes and if they're MOC they get put into a bin until I'm ready to animate (which I would do alot more of if my stuff would quit breaking)

From his hometown. I'm a big Dave Marcis fan too for the same reason but don't have alot of his stuff. I have my entire 1:64 collection documented on my Facebook page if you want to see it. When you click the link they'll have "Wimmer's Entire Collection" as the album names

I love Paul Menard's paint scheme this year. I can't pay $65 for the 1:24 but it sure would stand out in my collection.

I haven't been down in my basement in over 2 months since I moved most of my cool stuff upstairs so I spent some time going through stuff like my play box and custom fodder box.

I miss having 4 brands of die cast makers. Sucks to think that 15 years ago we had Action, Revell, Team Caliber, Racing Champions, Hot Wheels, and Winner's Circle but all we have now is Lionel and Spinmaster. Hell, i miss CFS.

I preordered a die cast for the first time ever and it was my first 1:24 purchase in two years- kevin Harvick homestead raced version. Preordered on Tuesday and at the track racing emailed me this morning to cancel the order. Apparently they oversold. Dammit man.
