Are the 1/64 still made like crap? No, they got rid of the crap PLS mold for the most part, as far as I can remember, they only used it once last year and that was for the early release Menard Darlington promos (that was packaged with Valvoline bottles at Menards) hmmm maybe i will actually pick a few up this year then

New adds- Spent $40 and got these- -2013 Landon Cassill/Mike Wallace G&K Camaro (It says Cassill, but that's just a sticker. The diecast came out too late in the year and JD Motorsports switched drivers, that's why the silver production sticker on the side says Mike Wallace and the sticker of the front says Landon Cassill), cost me $25 but with how rare the 1:64 G&K cars are, I'd say I got a good deal. Now I need to find the Randy Hill Racing 08 (so hard to find because the team never released them due to them shutting down, likely they're stored in a storage unit somewhere.) -2009 Derrike Cope Asset Protect/Strutmasters Dodge Custom ($10) -2010 Travis Kvapil Long John Silvers Ford Custom ($10) The dude sent the ugly Hefty promo for free. I wasted 6-8 weeks of my life waiting for the Hefty Car

Just picked up Kyle Petty's 2008 Wells Fargo and Marathon Oil 1:64s for $14 shipped. Guy was quickly liquidating his collection, and I got two $50 1:64s for $7 each. Unbelievable. Already had the Marathon but the splitter and rear bumper are chipping, even though they've never been out of the box.

Just ordered that one weird Revell 7-pack of DW 17s done in all his more iconic paint schemes over the years. It's awful, but has its charm. It's odd how, back in the day, I snapped up every car I could get my hands on in '98 and now I'm still getting diecast from around that time instead of picking up something made today.

I own that set plus most of them individually. I wish they had the regular sponsors instead of Western Auto

The quality of the cars themselves is amazing; it's interesting how far NASCAR diecast went from the early-90s to the late-90s.

They had stickers for the sponsors I remember my first ever NASCAR diecast being Harry Gant's 33 with a sound module...instead of making up a logo to replace Skoal, they just left it blank, so I just had a dark green and white car with the 33 on it. Next time you see a BRAD~! 2 on the pegs and complain about how censoring tobacco or alcohol sponsorships sucks, I want you to think about my experience.

I was in Kmart and I found a 2005 winners circle 1:64 st Louis post/miller high life (yes the actual sponsor)#64 Busch series dodge...believe rusty Wallace was the listed driver. Car came on a clear base and all. Still have it packed away to this day somewhere
