this brought up an awesome find from years ago. I was in Kmart and I found a 2005 winners circle 1:64 st Louis post/miller high life (yes the actual sponsor)#64 Busch series dodge...believe rusty Wallace was the listed driver. Car came on a clear base and all. Still have it packed away to this day somewhere Winners Circle did that from time to time but they were supposed to be sold up front near the tobacco so kids couldn't buy them.

Checking in for the first time in Charlotte
Traded my Jay and Silent Bob POPs for a 2013 Kahne Food City 500 1:24 at Scotts Collectables. He was hesitant to trade them at 50 bucks even (meaning they were about the same amount) because he couldn't really make a profit on them but eventually we came to an agreement. I got the better end of the bargain though, that Kahne goes for over 100 in diecast groups on Facebook and eBay.
Also I go to the Lionel Retail Store regularly, picked up the University of Racing Legends Wendell Scott 1:24 for 85. They go for over 100 on eBay too.

If I'm remembering right I also have a budweiser/3 doors down 1:64 from winners circle as well

Years ago companies didn't put plastic bases on Alcohol sponsored cars Ive never seen a single release alcohol sponsored car at retail that didnt have a clear base. To my knowledge I have the first 2 1:64 scale cars that were allowed alcohol/tobacco on them. Late 80s Sears/JC Pennys christmas catalog had like a 20 car set in it and one of the cars was the #27 Miller Genuine Draft Rusty Wallace car. It was a hot seller at the time. I also have/had (its been beat up now) a 1:64 Geoff Bodine car that you had to order from Nascar Illustrated I believe. It had water slide decals to apply to the car. I cant remember the company that made it but the only cars I had in that style were that and a Folgers Tim Richmond that you had to use mail in points for.

One has rubber tires and the other has plastic, I bought the plastic tire one brand new.

Just received a 1:64 of Terry's Last Ride off of eBay and my collection gets weirder and weirder.
On a note related to the alcohol/tobacco conversation, I've a multipack of all the black/silver schemes from Talladega '06 when Dale was inducted into the Motorsports Hall of Fame and Junior's car has the Bud logo on it, I don't recall whether the 1:24 or single 1:64 release had it, but I'd just discovered it when showing it to some friends on Fb a week or so ago (I'd had it since they first came out and never noticed it until then) and thought it was pretty neat.

Last Trent Barreta Fan I was searching on eBay and I stumbled across a Michael Annett TMC 5 in 1:64. Is this legit? I checked the Lionel racing website and they have no mention of this car in 1:64 at all

Did Not Produce A car has to meet MOQ (minimum order quantities) during a pre-order period or it gets DNPd.

Picked up two things on eBay today. First got a 1/64 set of Tony Roper cars from the 2000 Busch season and then got lucky enough to get a 1/64 David Reutimann truck which was pretty high up on my list of cars/trucks to find.
Now on my list are Allgier's black Verizon 1/64, Jeff Burton's Holiday Inn 1/64, Kurt Busch's #39 Penske 1/64, Landon Cassill's #5 National Guard 1/64, and the #23 Bill Lester 1/64 truck. I should be going to the Daytona Flea Market in a couple of months so hopefully I'll be able to find some of those there.

Took a trip down to a flea market to visit a friend that used to own the best racing store I've ever seen. He's closing his store July 5th so his stuff was much cheaper than usual. Managed to get all of this for $160:
1999 Jeff Gordon Dupont Chromalusion 1/24 Bank 2005 Jeff Gordon Dupont Performance Alliance 1/24 Elite 2007 Jeff Gordon Dupont Charlotte Raced Win 1/24 1993 Jeff Gordon Dupont 1/43 1990 Jeff Gordon Outback Steakhouse 1/64 1991 Jeff Gordon Carolina Ford Dealers 1/64 1991 Jeff Gordon Autolite 1/64 1986 Neil Bonnett Budweiser 1/64 1994 Bill Elliott Budweiser 1/64 1994 Ricky Craven Dupont 1/64 1990 Davey Allison Texaco-Havoline RCCA 1/64 2003 Jeff Gordon Dupont/Victory Lap 1/64 2011 Brian Vickers Red Bull 1/64 2012 Jeff Gordon Dupont 1/64 2015 Jeff Gordon Axalta Homestead 1/64
He had a number of other cars I was looking at so I'm probably gonna go back again and get more before they close.
