My favorites have been
Royal Rumble series HBK, Bret Hart, Goldust
Wrestlmania series Stone Cold (WM 17), Kane, Ultimate Warrior
some of the early Batista figures
some of the one and dones are great like Carlito, Mike Knox, Hurricane, Dreamer
Punk in Macho Mans colors
Survivor Series Rock was cool
Steamboat that came with Jericho is great
some of the girls are ok (first Vickie,Michelle McCool and Maryse come to mind)
not sure if they are basics or Elites but I like the Vince McMahon and COO HHH figure)
Lots of great basic figures out there too many to list

Basic 5 Hurricane
Basic 28 Tensai
These figures are very well done. Obviously there are other Basics that are great as well, but they have Elite versions which are better. There are no better Elites in the costumes for the characters I mentioned. Obviously everyone is entitled to their own opinion, but I prefer Basic 28 Tensai over the Elite 22 Tensai, The torso on the Elite Tensai hurts the look of the figure to me.
And obviously we have no Elite Hurricane figures or an Elite Undertaker figure in Wrestlemania 21 attire.

i love how he asks "Top basic" and everyone gives a freakin list ... my top basic in my collect is prob VG BP22 , as i dont collect basics really but i have 3 and thats my fav.
