Can any brand thinner be used with Tamiya acrylic paints, or does it have to be Tamiya's thinner? Also, it is my 1st time using Tamiya's paint: does it require thinner?

whoever said testors isnt good because its watered down & has thin coats, isnt getting their stuff straight.
you dont want thick paint applications because that raises the height of the area painted & in the end scrapes off. you want to paint with many thin coats instead of one thick coat.
testors isnt sticky either. its the best paint out there
apple barral should be avoided. no matter what you do its going to rub off. & since its so thick there are always brush marks in your paint, something that doesnt happen with testors.
so in the end, testors is great, apple barral isnt.

Testors is the best paint ever, I've used it for all of my customs and It always turn out clean and rarely ever has paint rub in the joints.

enamel is the paint you should stay away from, i think its oil based. dont use it at all, its doesnt dry & stays tacky.

No. You can't iron on a decal. Iron on transfer paper is different. You have to iron on the label. People mostly do that to a figures cloth shirt or maybe to a ring apron. |

Anyone ever try Citadel? I use those on some other customs but don't know how they will work with JAKKS products.

does airbrushing work well on the figures? I am really curious to see.
also i uses liquitex acrylic paint and pearl paint.
will fluid acrylics work well

Would it be ok for me to use acrylic paint to paint a ladder, which I will still play with. Will it come off on figs, or it'll be ok? I have the orange ladder, and I don't like it too much.
