Hey guys. I need a Flat colored paint, like not shiney, that dires semi fast "within 2-3 hours", and stays on verry goot "does not feel sticky at all when done".
What paint would be the best? +5 or -5, your choice

What paint would be the best? +5 or -5, your choice Testors Acryl. Lots of flat or matte choices in their line up. Any "water-based" paint will dry almost instantly with a hair dryer. No need to wait hours or a day for it to dry. Just keep the dryer 8-10 inches away from the surface and keep it moving so the surface doesn't bubble of burn.

Is there a way to paint tye dye patterns on figures?
I'm looking to paint an Andy Kaufman shirt mold to look like what ECW Spike Dudley used to wear.
Any suggestions welcome.

what kinda paint do you need in order to retouch/repaint Hasbro and Galoob figs
I recently went back home and dug up my old collection of Hasbros and Galoobs. Needless to say, they were extensively played with and came into contact with some sharpie pens...
I figure, I'd take up a summer hobby and repaint them all... so, it's not really a custom question, but I figured this was the best place to go to ask in terms of required/needed paint.
Thanks in advance for the help!

if i use acrylic paint, do i need to use a sealer? Only if you want the paint to looks shiny and not to chip. On the topic of sealer, does anybody know a good kind to use? I also would like to say my friend let me use his can, and I sprayed it on a figure but it came out terrible, like the paint was all sticky and gooey.

Detail can be painted with a toothpick. I shave it down to a smaller point.
I use Krylon primer. It's in the spray paint aisle. Gray or white is fine. I prefer gray but the last can I bought was on sale and it was white. I haven't had any problems with it. The reds and yellows were just slightly more of a pain than with gray. Of course it doesn't matter what primer I use, I will always hate painting red and yellow.
To seal I do two coats of a matte finish. I've used all types of brands. This step, for me, has no real importance in terms of overall appearance. Just in sealing. Then I do two coats of Testors dull-cote. Why do I do it this way you ask? Because with the Plaid brand, or whichever I buy at the time, you get about 3 times as much as the testors, but I like the finish that the testors gives me. So I do the first 2 in the cheaper stuff so I can save the more expensive sealer for the end.
