Some highlights: -TNA has soured him to wrestling, he'd like to go to WWE but needs a break, wants to concentrate on music. -Pac man is "a waste of money", reportedly 250-500k worth. -Matt is not high on brining in guys that will give TNA bad pub inlight of what's going on...ie Test, Pacman. He really talks down Test. -Matt's band is Lost in chaos -Basically says politics are shoddy in TNA, Dutch mantell shoots down alot of ideas, because they're not his. -Matt said he was not resigned and was free on Aug 14th and his name was taken off the website. His contract expires Aug 20th. He says everything goes through Jeff Jarrett. He went up to Jeff and Dixie and they did NOT wish him good luck...take that for what its worth. -Jerry Lynn will probably be on in a couple of weeks -------------------------------------------------------------- BTR Crew basically is waiting for TNA to get it right and sees the company as whirlwind of inconsistency. I believe Vito likens it to watching the "final days of WCW They, like many of us fans cant understand TNA's lack of booking, and decisions. Bentley's comments affirm the sentiments. credit: BETWEEN THE ROPES ------------------------------------------------------------------- An excellent listen and I'll be catching them more. kinda a mike and mike in the morning type of show. Personally, TNA maynot make it past 2008 or even to 2007 from the sounds of things

Yeah, TNA has really gone down hill from the looks and sounds of things. I think Bentley would be a good startup guy on ECW.

sounds like Michael Shane is a little bitch, wanting a break?
the kid is just that, A KID. why the hell is he bitching about wrestling for a few years?
TNA is having a rough spot but I doubt they will be done by next year. They have way more going on then you think.

I respect Bentley a lot more about his comments.
They are the same things a lot of us on here have been saying for months. I hope he supports the movement.

UHH OH! Don't give your true feelings about a company that has done you wrong. That surely will cost you 1 or 2 on the internet!

Bentley's right on with his comments and it echoes alot of opinions of TNA's product. Wait until tonight and you guys will see what I mean

He's actually been with the company since 2003. Not quite since the beginning.

Why is Pacman even here? I never even heard of the guy until TNA mentioned him. They think he will bring in ratings when top stars like Kurt Angle & Sting couldn't brake the 1.2 rating.

Like I said before, Dixie Carter is clueless and naive. She doesn't understand or get wrestling at all or what makes a good product.
TNA, Jarrett, and Carter have gone off the deep end.
None of the established names have made a big difference in ratings or buyrates.

Shane made it sound like he just has a stick up his ass. Booking has been a problem but they just landed a 2 hour deal, things will stretch out and play out better. Stop bitching so much.

Let me make this very clear, and it's notheing against you Roode. I was fine with the TNA product up until MONDAY night when I read the *spoliers* which you will all see tonight. Am i making abig deal out of it? perhaps but what I read just made no sense at all and is what has me in an uproar. I'm fine with Angle having all the belts, as long as they have decent storylines forhim to lose them to legit people. I'm fine with new feuds as long as they make some damn sense and dont seem pulled out of a hat, and I'm fine wth older stars like Test, runnels, etc coming in but my gawd work them into your damn program for more than just to build up to a ppv. This is why I'm bitchin..believe me if things dont seem so bad I'll stop whining about it but if after tonite, they continue to go down this same crap lyden road then I'm gonna complain casue they have a perfect example in WCW of this stuff NOT working but they continue to go head first into like a bucnh of morons!!!! I honestly thought Jeff Jarret had better sense but seems like he's on nothing but an ego trip as a co/owner of a company

TNA is having a rough spot but I doubt they will be done by next year. They have way more going on then you think. Sounds like you need to layoff the total-nonstop asskissing, and realize he gave the company more than a chance. You want me to find a way to sum up how ridiculous the TNA practices can be? How about we look at TNA's NWA(later TNA) Heavyweight title legacy. Let's measure up who they put the title on that they created vs. Those that became champion mostly due to what they did somewhere else for a bigger company. Wrestler's TNA has made World Champion, who didn't wrestle in WWE, ECW or WCW prior to it1. AJ Styles 2. Abyss Wrestler's TNA has made World Champion, that did wrestle at one time or another prior to it, in WWE, ECW or WCW1. Ken Shamrock 2. Ron 'The Truth' Killings 3. Jeff Jarrett 4. Raven 5. Rhino 6. Christian Cage 7. Sting 8. Kurt Angle That's 2 out of 10 men in the 5 years TNA has been running, that have actually been given the belt. That right there says, TNA is failing to make Main Eventers or is ignoring the ones they have and have had. Now you can reconstruct what I'm saying but here's another fact for ya. Number of Days in total TNA made stars have been World Champion:252 Days Number of Days in total WWE, WCW and ECW established stars held TNA's World Championship:1,330 days That means that out of a 5 year run, the company has not only failed to deliver as many of homegrown main eventers as the marquee stars they've brought in, when it comes to putting the belt on someone. But they also relied for 4 years on names that fans have heard of rather than the ones they were suppose to be introducing as the alternative. You can't contend with what I'm saying because the product has almost always been about bringing in the name guys as much so as it is the company with the 6 sided ring.

AJ Styles actually did wreslte in WCW. He teamed with Air Paris for a very short time in a tag team called "Air Raid." Sure it's hard to remember as it was a very short stint (and he had problems with Billy Kidman) but it happened.
Which leaves:
Abyss

Which leaves: Abyss Hah, I'd love to make the alteration, but in fairness it was right during the closeout. Though you have a point. If I did remove Styles, that'd change the stats drasticly. Since Styles is a 3-time NWA champion, and Abyss held the belt just once. Styles reigns were pretty decent length, one that lasted 4 months while the other two were just a month each. But Abyss was lucky to have 2 months with the belt. That's sad, TNA's only homegrown talent to hold the belt in 5 years, held it for . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .56 days.

Abyss had the belt for less than 2 months, 8 weeks.
And in that time, it was a terrible title run. He was playing second fiddle to Sting, and they started that THE SECRET ORIGIN OF ABYSS bullshit.
Sting didn't even have the decency to put Abyss over. His lone title defense at Turning Point was terrible.

I read the spoilers for TNA..
it sounds like two good shows, Idk what the HELL you are talking about.
you guys are acting like MARKS because some of your wrestlers are losing matches to bad guys..
oh wow..did you not see Lashley get dominated by Kennedy on WWE and they pumped Lashley to the point of where he could almost beat Cena.
ITS A WRESTLING SHOW, JUST WATCH THE DAMN THING AND STOP BITCHING ATLEAST ITS NOT A 2 YEAR CHAMPION WITH NO WRESTLING SKILLS, WE HAVE A TRIPLE CROWN CHAMPION WITH AMAZING WRESTLING SKILLS...
Kurt Angle is amazing and the best wrestler in the world today. Just because booking has been bad for a few weeks (aka 3 shows) doesnt mean TNA will be bad forever.
WWE has had bad booking for MONTHS...you tell me you'd rather go watch Cena vs Umaga, then Angle vs Joe
or Christian and Joe.
if TNA fails at their two hour show then I will agree with you..
but if not. You people should shut up.
