In case anyone was curious....the issue between Nick from fiveknuckleshuffle & rittyrules13 has been resolved. rittyrules has been re-banned, as he was the former member known as sunglassessteve or HeelZiggler who was banned about a year and a half ago for scamming at least one member (ClassicCollector) and having multiple trading issues with others. his elaborate "story" about not receiving figures, having paypal disputes opened and getting the chief of police involved was a complete farce. In addition to the multiple USPS tracking numbers I got from nick showing large packages delivered to the right address, I also got this summary from him: here's the jist of it. He sent me pictures of the lot, I agreed, and he sent. while in transit he changed the figures that are included and the amount. I didn't say much due to the pictures still being worth more than my money. Unfortunately for me, He didn't ship everything. When I got upset he said send them back. I knew right then something was off. if he didn't have money at first how did he have money now. He tried to play the system Chip. He figured he'd refund temporarily and then claim he didn't get everything. At that point paypal would refund him his money and I would be out the money and figures. He'd have both the money and the figures. It didn't work out and now he has the figures, I have the money, and he is pissed. He thought it was going down fast and well. As far as the extra stuff goes, he did get a few things back he wasn't supposed to. In the almost 100lbs of packages (4 @ 20-24 pounds and 2 @ 1 lb) he accidently got shipped an extra ring and a trash talking stage along with a couple other items. It was an accident but was still just extra stuff. At one point he offered to mail them back but I didn't care enough. I've contacted Nick and told him in the future to try and communicate better with members when doing deals. He understands this. But this whole thing kind of opened my eyes to quite a bit. There's gonna be a few rule updates & changes with the way we handle things in the Classifieds, and maybe we all can learn to have just a little patience when it comes to things. To those who backed up my stance on this situation and appreciate what I do, I sincerely thank you

Didn't really follow this, but good for him I guess.

This is why I support IP bans... this guy has joined this place at least 5 different times in the few years I have been here...

Unfortunately, there are ways around those and people use them to come back. Chip and the other Classifieds MODs do an amazing job in catching these people and getting them banned again.

I'm happy that this issue was solved. Until now I had not realized how much of a black box the whole "issue resolution/Mod work" is. As a regular member we really only see the input that parties involved in disputes make public and the ultimately output in the form of the result of the case. All the investigation and heavy information is kept under wraps by those who are really the only ones who need to know and can act accordingly.
So I for one would like to express an apology to Chip, as he previously stated to have felt offended in a previous thread. I made a couple observations then and posed a question of impartiality. Now I know to trust that the mods are doing their jobs and know far more than I do in these matters. I did not mean to offend and hope their is no ill will there. I commend you for your work Chip.

Chip thanks for getting to the bottom of this. One question I have though - with you guys now having a real concrete mailing address (since Nick had to ship the 4 boxes back) are the authorities in sunglassessteve's area being notified?

I'm glad that scammers, and especially repeat scammers, are being dealt with. As a possible further measure (for those who circumvent IP bans and checks), perhaps classified mods could keep a database of postal addresses of scammers, and when we set up trade threads we include cities/towns... And when a town comes up that is the same as a known scammer, a classifieds mod could check the new guy's address against theirs.
Another possibility, classifieds mods keeping a database of Paypal addresses of known bad traders/scammers. I know this is more work for the mods of that section, but it might prevent the ones that keep coming back.

Texas has a lot lol

on the bad traders thread we have separate states with usernames, names, cities, zip codes and emails. pretty much all the info i receive from anyone about a scammer, staying within the legal limits (cant post phone numbers or streets) so yeah every time one of these idiots is caught we have their info and its put out in public for anyone to search before trading

I'm glad it was resolved. My only issue with Nick is that he agrees to deals and then backs out and ignores your pms. I'm not trying to hold a grudge but all I'm looking for is better communication. He could have just said hey I changed my mind on the deal. It's really not that hard. Now when other members mention these issues he leaves arrogant responses like he never did any of that and he's perfect.
On eBay I've made multiple purchases, no problems. On here he needs to do better business.

Exactly, something I personally wouldn't be able to handle at the degree that Chip performs. Chip is without a doubt one of our finest mods on WF.

I think I've only ever done deals with classifieds mods (ClassicCollector and Flameboy) so never had any issues.

I thought the whole thing sounded fishy, with the other guy talking about all this proof that he had, but never posting one single bit of the actual proof.

See you know what from the very start I was behind 5KS all the way. The guy is all over Ebay with great figs and prices. He has been around here in the past and also went through with several contests in the past. Then out of nowhere some guy starts all these accusations and manipulated nearly everyone into thinking fiveknuckleshuffle was a no good rat bastard. Good that things have been cleared up. Its really really unfortunate how guilty people can get away just by pretending they are the victims.
