It's the Matt Hardy basic torso and pants from the Wrestlemania 26 basics. That figure goes for $20+ all day long. And the Ryder Jacket has to be something, too.
There was a guy that had done something similar in Virginia only about a month ago. I'm wondering if the one influenced the other, or if the easy to swap nature of Mattel's package entices scumbags into thinking there's no consequence for something so easily covered up. Taking your parts fodder and listing it is one thing, taking it and cramming it in a box that is supposedly a factory error is another.
The other funny part that was mentioned by BarrettBarrage is how often Mattel makes mistakes with the completely wrong parts. I mean it's perfectly plausible, right, that they had a 3 year old figure laying around that worked it's way down the assembly line, had a 2 year old jacket slipped on it, and then the machine took the basic legs and bowed them out to fit in the tray. Right? Right?
I sincerely hope that this person is naive and got scammed themselves, but I highly doubt it. "I know enough about WWE figures to buy this and list it up but I don't know it's not legit." Yeah right...
EDIT: He scalps wrestling toys, Mighty Muggs, and Skylanders. He knows damn well what he's doing.

Must have been one helluva mistake if they get a Jakks torso on a Mattel figure.

Must have been one helluva mistake if they get a Jakks torso on a Mattel figure. It's not a Jakks torso, it's the rarely used Matt Hardy/ William Regal basic torso. It looks a lot like the Classic Superstars mold until you zoom in on it. Anyway, Mattel never had much use out of it as Regal doesn't compete in ring anymore and Matt Hardy is gone. EDIT: Found a pic. Like I said earlier, that Matt Hardy is at least a $20-$25 figure loose and they are fairly uncommon now on ebay, usually only popping up one at a time.

At least he put it on EBay and tried to make his money there instead of just returning it to the store where innocent mothers or fathers will prob. buy it not knowing.
