Such an unfortunate way for that fight to end.

i cannot fathom how hard Silva must have kicked Weidman to snap his leg in half. What an unbelievable shock that was, I've never heard a gasp that loud as I did when he went down.. The kicked landed right at the knee joint, so that probably didn't help. But wow...I'm still speechless. It's REALLY hard for me to imagine a comeback from an injury of that magnitude from a 38 year old.

I hope Anderson's surgery and recovery goes well.
Feel very fortunate to have witnessed his entire UFC career play out.
Thank you.

It's a terrible way to win, but it's still a win none the less. Injuries happen and are always a risk and part of the MMA game. Remember when Vitor beat Randy for the belt due to cut?? I guarantee if it was Weidman's leg that got snapped, all Anderson's fans would be happier than sh*t 'cause he'd be the champion again.
Congrats to Weidman for a successful title defense. May not like the way he won, but injuries happen and that's all there is to it. He won again. Bottom line.
And Rousey. Come on. Great fight and a great win, but same old one trick. Winner by same old sh*t, Ronda Rousey!! It was a tremendous fight, but I'm begging her to finish a fight by some other way. A nice choke or triangle would be a nice change. Her friggin' armbar is lethal and her ONLY go-to move. Good for her. She pulled it off again. Just wish she would try something different for a change. It's called mixed-martial arts for a reason. Mix it up for a change. I'm beggin' ya.
Travis Browne is no joke. He's a serious contender. He polished off Barnett pretty damn quick eh?? That was VERY impressive. Congrats to him with an awesome win.
Awesome night of fights. I enjoyed them all.

I didn't watch the PPV but I am watching the post show now. They didn't show footage of Silva's leg breaking but that gif is pretty sick. Silva has joined the club with Theisman, Sid, and Ware in that you only need to see the injury once and that is probably one too many times. Only reason I do want to see that sequence again is to see if Weidman actually maneuvered his leg into the perfect blocking position or was it dumb luck that Silva's shin hit Weidman's kneecap dead on. Its a shame that Weidman has two wins over Silva yet critics can find reasons to say both wins were flukes.
I must be in a small minority but I like Ronda Rousey and really dislike Miesha Tate after watching the last season of TUF. I think Ronda summed it up quite nicely when she said on the show "I'd rather be real mean than fake nice." Glad to see that she retained.

Did you not see her Judo skills on full display?

^ Oh yeah, she tossed Tate around like a rag-doll. Not denying her judo skills at all. That was amazing. I just wish she would change it up. That's just my opinion, but as you said, if it ain't broke don't fix it. I can't argue with that at all. Use what works. I'd just like to see something different from her, that's all.

I wouldn't expect either fighters' fans to be happy about the other guy receiving an injury of that magnitude. I think it's silly to even imply that.

Yeah, I definitely see what you're saying. It's honestly crazy that all of her fights have ended in armbars though. Can't wait for her next fight.

Someone needs to give Weidman a " I broke Silva's leg" shirt done to look like the old school Ole Anderson "I broke Wahoos leg" style

I don't really watch UFC but damn I saw the leg injury and it was nasty! I guess I should add that I do like Ronda so I'm happy she won.

Rhonda & Weidman both won. I'm happy. Can't believe Travis Browne destroyed Barnett so quickly. Unreal. Maybe he's a real threat for the title?

Said no true fan of the sport ever. Lesnar is the most decorated UFC champ and Gracie is the best too. And it's karma ask Anderson Silvia's leg Brilliant. I'm not even going to comment on the Lesnar comment. Gracie is the best what? Karma? Silva didn't deserve what happened to him. He will go down as one of the greatest MMA fighters ever and I will bet any money, we will see him in the HOF soon. I'm not a Silva fan at all but anybody that says 'he deserved it' isn't a true MMA fan. No body deserves that. The man gets into the cage for our entertainment and love him or hate him, you can't deny how entertaining he has been. I really wish Silva all the best. I don't think anybody can disagree that they would have rather of had a better finish to the fight than the one we got. As a fan I feel we were robbed of what was going to be a classic fight and I'm gutted it ended how it did. It was one of them freak accidents that was no bodies fault and wasn't in any way deserved.
