An Ultimate X is easy to make, All you need are 4 woodern or metal dowls and connect with tape or something to your post then use spare rope or string as the wires at the top. For a cage i would use dowls again and also small whole chicken wire, Then just use the dowls as supports for the cage (chicken wire) then wrap the chicken wire around the dowls and connect them with tape or rubber bands, (rubber band wuld be easyer to take parts of the cage off for playability) then you have a basic cage, But cut a few sides off so you can play with it ect ect, I would also, where you cut the chicken wire put some tape over the part and spray it silver so it look like apart of the cage and also so you dont cut yourself on the sharp edge's

for a perfect six sides of steel, I'd highly suggest just cutting the Jakks cage. It is PERFECTLY sized, and looks just great on the ring. check your local toy stores. My KB still has a few of the "NWO Metal match" cages sitting on clearance for like, $3.

thanks for al the replies. RicMan - RIP Eddie , you said to attach the dowls to my ring posts, wouldnt they cave in with the tension of the string and the weight of a figure?

^The wooden dowel won't cave in if you buy a thick enough one and the dowels are securely fastened to the ringposts with rubber bands or cable ties. I also suggest buying the square wooden dowels instead of the circular ones.
