monstercafesaltillo.blogspot.mx/2013/07/wwf-custom-flaming-tables-match.htmlREAL metal tables that break in half and ALSO can be set on fire over and over again. Oh yeah! First time this has ever been done. I mean I am sure no one here has had their own metal tables welded together! Comments are welcome! And disclaimer time....Do not try this at home kids! Do not be a big poopy head! Leave being a big poopy head for professionals.

Well I noticed in the Edge Foley match when Foley went through the table so fast that the flames went out really quickly. It works if you throw the figure through fast.

dont know what can or cant be said on here, but if you joined you should be old enough, and compitent enough, (dont hold me resposible if you encounter problems doing this, i dont reccomend or encourage it in any way) yes paper towel works cool, but deoderant also does, this does melt your plastic table though after a while haha, its so cool you have metal tables to do this with, but its dangerous and will melt figures too or damage them in some way, nice job

Very cool, and yes, you definitely are the only person I know of with metal, ignitable tables in the world, lol!

I'm not the best role model here, but this really isn't something for a mainly children's site. Plus the tables aren't up to par in my opinion the overall design is cool but the after burn is something that is honestly pointless. The table itself is suppose to go out when as soon as the wrestler touches it. The momentum causes the flame to expire, and with your last flame it seems it kept burning. Which is dangerous and could injure someone or yourself. Granted, I know you are a 40 something year old adult but never the less one wrong slip of the index figures and well you know what happens next. Why don't you try to invent flame-less fire? A fire sculpt that goes into a table after the move or that can be removed?

I remember doing that back in the day, I would take a little lighter fluid n put it on one of the tables, light it then do my spot with my figures. The flame went out pretty fast and neither my figs or the tables were damaged.
As for all the arguing and butthurtedness, a simple disclaimer in your post would have saved a lot of trouble. granted kids today arent very bright and dont listen but a disclaimer keeps you out of trouble at least

Ok so I had to take a moment to "moderate" as I sometimes do in a very comunistic fashion. I have deleted a number of posts that were either not productive comments or had a tone that I felt did not reflect what I expect from members on this forum.
All are entitled to their opinions. Please dispense them in a respectful way.
Fell free to respectfully debate what you think should and should not be posted on the forum. But keep it in the spirit of an open minded debate.
Do I think that it is wrong to post this for fear of encouraging children to play with fire? Not really. The minimum forum age according to the rules is 13 making the average age much more than that. I mean many of the sigs of members on the forum are on the verge of pornographic. So I think if you are old enough to handle some of these sigs then you are also old enough to know that fire is dangerous. Let's be honest. This is the internet and there are dangerous things on the internet and much more dangerous than this. I think this forum even has other dangers that are discussed such as use of drills, power saws, rotary tools, broken glass, and dare i say some of the swinging punch Hasbros (those things can hurt!). I mean the LJN ring itself has impaled children for God's sake! And as a former 13-y-o my self I am sure I would have never needed a forum post like this to give me the idea to light a table on fire. In fact I didn't need the inspiration and tried this myself as a kid. That being said it is not a wise idea to do this. It is clearly dangerous and can cause damage to your body, your figures, your set up, collection, and your house. Even if you think you know what you are doing, you are not a pyro technician, fire is unpredictable, and flammable liquids are even more unpredictable. So I would never recommend doing this. But do i really need to say that?
AS far as the item. I prefer your other work but as a cast of the table it's fine. I would like to see it painted so that the wood part was brown like the real tables. I think it would make them a bit more crisp that way. I am curious as to what you did for a mechanism to hold the 2 halves together. Is it the same nub as the originals? One thing that I always wished was that the table were a little more in scale. Slightly taller and slightly longer would have been nice. These were as you may remember originally released with BCA figs.
Since you have the ability to cast tables Why not try belts in real metal? Chairs? Ladders.
Anyways Hobgoblin. I hope the little bit of drama that this post brought out doesn't stop you from making the cool work that you have been contributing to the board.

Thank Naparo! A voice of reason. But the WORST thing from our wrestling childhood had to be that King Kong Bundy LJN figure! You could way lay someone with that thing!
Yeah I showcased it in silver to point out that it is not a Jakks plastic table. But rest assured. More pics will be coming where I will paint it brown and show it side by side with the Jakks one.
My next custom is pretty big. It is already done. Just awaiting pics of it.

It's really cool that you are able to use them over and over. The only ones that I've seen before are made of wood or cardboard and can only be used once.
