The Ballard of All is an interesting/hilarious name for a ROP event. I’ve been waiting for another Ring of Poison show for quite some time so I’m pretty pumped right now!!! ROP Cruiserweight Championship Match: Frightmare vs. Jigsaw A really nice choice to open the show. The match was headed in the right direction: fast paced, exciting…and then Jimmy Jacobs showed up. Seems like Jimmy Jacobs is always the buzzkill in everyone’s fed. I do like the direction you’re going with in regards to Jimmy Jacobs. I think it’s cool he’s going for the masks…it’s pretty damn cool. Delirious making the save was a nice way to send this match/segment. Solid booking here. Nice Claudio/Nigel/Ares segment. A Nigel McGuinness vs. Ares match should be a good one. The All Night Express vs. The Colony Loved Steve Corino’s pre-match shtick. The match was extremely entertaining and, once again, you demonstrated pretty solid booking by having Corino help the All-Night Express pick up the victory. I really wanted the Colony to win but that damn Steve Corino… Funny promo from the HooliganZ Nice vignette for the tournament Chris Hero vs. Bryan Danielson Excellent technical match between two excellent wrestlers. Glad Bryan Danielson picked up a victory; it appears your major push for him is well on its way to reaching its peak. I can’t wait to see what limit you push Danielson to. And we’re introduced to Jackie Polo. He certainly seems…interesting. A Polo/Quackenbush match for next month sounds good. Let’s see what Polo has. Ares vs. Nigel McGuinness Hard fought victory for Nigel McGuiness, who gets his shot at Claudio Castagnoli next month. The match was really well done and I thought Double C being sent to the back was a nice touch. Can’t wait for McGuinness/Claudio… Nice promo from Jimmy Jacobs ROP World Tag Team Championship Match: The Motor City Machine Guns vs. The Prophecy Four tremendous talents squaring off in the semi-main event. Anyways, this was a really entertaining match. Definitely had more of a “main event feel” than what it was being billed as (“Semi-main event”). The run in from Cheech was interesting; I’m sure we’ll see some combination of Cheech doing battle against the Machine Guns (maybe a 2-on-1 handicap match). ROP World Championship Match: Kevin Steen vs. Samoa JoeHARD HITTING match (which was to be expected). Definitely had a main event feel to it. The aftermath was pretty damn insane as we see Moxley and Generico assault Joe…but Brodie Lee makes the save?!? Nutty indeed. This is getting good. You have a great talent, Mikey. You’re a damn good booker, you rarely make any mistakes. My only criticism is how long the paragraphs run for your matches. I’d break them up more often with some commentary so it’s easier on the eyes to read. Other than that, great job.

I'd like to see you pluck a ring announcer, give your announcer an identity. Personally I was envisioning him as Steven DeAngelo. The indies have some great ring announcers though, from Larry Legend to Pedro DeLuca to Joey Eastman, Gavin Loudspeaker, Kevin Harvey.. It shouldn't be too hard to assign an identity to your ring announcer and would give an added boost of "feel" to your federation.
Frightmare and Jigsaw was a very good opener and exactly the type of match that should open the show. I like the "Jacobs vs. the luchadors" angle going on.
Nigel/Claudio/Ares promo was interesting.
I heard Ants Go Marching at the store the other day and immediately thought of the Colony. Going to production songs was the worst move CHIKARA has ever made because it takes so much out of the show. I heard Donst's song verbatim somewhere else, on an older wrestling show.. And it's a cover of an old Black Sabbath song. ROH is the one who created this nonsense idea that "if you're on iPPV, you can't use real music". You're indy wrestling. Stop trying to be more.
Tag match was good with a good finish. I like that the heels went over dirty. Puts them over strong, while still protecting your babyfaces.
London and Kendrick clearly got hit with the Back Fist to the Future at some point, and thus they are now time travelers.
The Lethal Lottery should be great.
Hero vs. Danielson was a catch as catch can classic. Would love to see these two in a more extended program, because Danielson vs. Hero is something that was never truly done. IWA Mid South did it once, and ROH may have done it once.. But they never really crossed paths at all
The Polo Lounge was interesting. Not sure what to make of it. Hopefully Raven shows up and murders him for tarnishing the family name.
Ares looks strong in his debut but not strong enough to beat Nigel. A well fought match though. Claudio and Nigel should be a lot of fun. More European Uppercuts than you can count!
It's official, Jimmy's lost it. Not sure if he ever had it, but it's certainly gone now.
I'm disappointed that Beautiful People wasn't leading to Bad Breed vs. MCMG. That'd be something to see.
I'll agree with ant that the tag team title match had a main event super match feel and quality to it. One of those circumstances where it's solely because a World title match came after it. I like that the tag team titles aren't just props for guys who aren't doing anything as singles wrestlers and do mean something. Tag team wrestling is a dying art.
The main event was great. Brutal, stiff, intense. Exactly what was to be expected from these two. From a booking perspective I like that the show ends with the cliffhanger to tune in next time, but from a business perspective I'm not entirely sure that's the way to end an iPPV. I've a gray area. You definitely pulled off the closing angle, but I somewhat question it's placement. It almost feels like this should've been second to last, with the tag match as the finale, to send the fans and the viewers home happy with a clean finish and sportsmanship.

Great show Mikey. I loved it just like everything ROP. Thanks for the reply on GWV BOH N1. I liked this show a lot. It was a great read. I really love your ability to create such great characters and storylines. Great show. Very descriptive writing which leaves a very vivid images of what is going on. -The first match had me as a Chikara fan very excited. I love the Chikara AOTF feud. I love how you book Jimmy. Him holding onto the masks is amazing and I love that he got the match to end by a DQ. Wow that end with Delirious was a roller coaster ride. I thought for a split second that he made the ultimate sacrifice by taking his mask off but he had the Green mask under it. Awesome stuff. I am excited for more Chikara vs. Jacobs. -I liked the sketch in the back with Nigel, Claudio, and Ares. Man Ares vs. Nigel is going to be awesome. I love this feud between these two. -I love Corino as the manager. I am really pulling for the colony. This match had everything. The ending was sweet and I am excited for a rematch.] -Very intriguing Londrick promo. -Lethal Lottery looks amazing. But it's called the Lethal lottery in Elizabeth NJ with No Jay Lethal ? -Hero vs. Danielson was amazing. Very technical. I am glad with the outcome. I love what your doing with Bryan and Hero. Especially Bryan, it's so unique. -Jackie Polo is certainly an odd one. I am excited to see Quack give him a face palm for his troubles. -Nigel vs. Ares was awesome. I liked this match a lot and I was pumped for Nigel's victory. Could you post a pic of your Nigel custom? -Nice Jacobs promo. Love it. -The tag match was awesome. I was really expecting MCMG to win but I was pleasantly surprised. -The main event is a dream match of mine. I had high hopes for this match and it delivered. This match really delivered. I love the Generico, Mox, and Steen trio. The end of the show was awesome. I hope we get to see Joe vs. Brodie. AWESOME SHOW Mikey. Great job! Thank you for the ROP and this show, it really motivates me and I love everything you make man, great job.
