MattelDesignTeam ,if you're only making Punk attires that he commonly wears, then why are you making the Undertaker one whereas you're not making the Bret Hart one? Punk's worn the Bret Hart one 4 times and has worn the Undertaker attire once.Good logic

And they are making a Basic of the Taker attire too for a Battle Pack, aren't they?
I don't want Hart Punk, but it's ridiculous of them to use that excuse.

...because the Undertaker attire was for a huge Wrestlemania match - and the figure is also part of a themed Wrestlemania 29 exclusive series. Simple.

Simple, the cost of making the Taker Punk is A LOT cheaper then the cost of making the Hart one. On top of that Punk wore it at Wrestlemania, which gives it an easy spot in the lineup (Wrestlemania series) unlike when Punk wore the Hart attire at SummerSlam, which they would have to put into the regular Elite line and didnt have the budget for.

Guys, they aren't going to make an attire Punk only wore once UNLESS the Series is based on a SPECIFIC PPV.
The Paul Heyman BAF set is based on WRESTLEMANIA 29 so each character will feature the attire that he wore at that SPECIFIC EVENT. That is why they are making his Undertaker tribute attire, even though it will likely NEVER be worn again.
Mattel did not do a Series based on the PPV that CM Punk wore his Bret Hart tribute attire, therefore it is not going to be made.

What about the Macho Man attire, worn once but made without any hassle, why does the Bret Hart one fall under a different category?

The basic version is different it has black kick pads with no deco But it's based off it though, right? I thought the basic was Elite 20 with no Kickpads?

But it's based off it though, right? I thought the basic was Elite 20 with no Kickpads? The Battle Pack with Taker. Maybe they just threw a Punk and Taker together. I could be misremembering. Either way, it's still ridiculous what they are doing/saying.

why is it confusing that they're making the WM 29 CM Punk in the TRU BAF WM 29 series?
if they weren't making that Punk.......that would be confusing

I thought the basic was Elite 20 with no Kickpads? The Battle Pack with Taker. Maybe they just threw a Punk and Taker together. I could be misremembering. Either way, it's still ridiculous what they are doing/saying. The Battle Pack Punk figure with Undertaker is in his black and white attire, not his Wrestlemania 29 attire. Anyway you want to spin it, the excuse doesn't fit here. Here's my personal opinion on it: at the time Punk debuted that attire, he only had one upcoming Elite figure scheduled (Elite 20). By the time they penciled him into future sets, there were already other attires that they wanted to do that were more recent. Additionally, Punk ditched the Bret Hart tribute attire completely after he fully turned heel, so unless they were going to do a BOPPV set based on SummerSlam 2012 they weren't going to do the Bret Hart attire. Like people said, the Taker tribute attire is being released because the set is based off Wrestlemania 29. As far as why Taker's Battle Pack figure has his Wrestlemania 29 tights, let's not forget that he actually wore that attire four times - Wrestlemania 29, the night after, the six-man tag match against The Shield and then his final match against Ambrose on SmackDown!. Plus, you have to make an exception for Undertaker figures given that he typically wrestles only one time a year and this year was an exception.

If they never planned to/are making him in the Undertaker attire from WM we would of heard everyone moan like the pink one.
