Oh and to try to answer your Q about rosa. I remember when protos first leaked that MDT responded saying they weren't happy with the headsculpt, thus leading them to short packing her even more.

Not at my local Target. Sandow was $16.99. If he did ring up for $5 I would have picked up the R2-D2 figure I passed on.


She's packed less than past divas? Because I've seen 3 cases between 3 Targets and there was one in every case.

These are actually photos of first factory samples. We will be making changes to two of the figures:
Kane will come with two elbow pads, not sure why earliest ones did not.
Zack Ryder head sculpt will be changed to the most recent smiling head used on Elite figure.
Unfortunately we will not be able to change the head on Rosa at this point. Internally we are about as unhappy with the head as all of you who have expressed your opinion so far. Changes were requested to address the narrowness of the head that unfortunately were not able to be completed in time for the figure's release. The pace of the line demands that at the very least 6 new Basic figures need to be released every month to meet expected demand. This year however, thanks to you and a whole lot of other WWE fans,the Basic figure line is flying off shelves at its best pace ever, even better than at the launch, which I find unbelievable. The drawback to this is that the schedule to deliver figures to market to meet the demand is shortened, giving us less time to fine tune adjustments like this.
At this point we were left with two options. One was to remove her from the wave entirely, which was considered. However in light of the recent decision to remove Kaitlyn from her scheduled release date it would have set a very bad precedent on actually delivering diva figures to market when they are supposed to. Also, there was no open slot in the basic figure schedule for the rest of the year that we could slip her into, as there was when Kaitlyn had to be delayed.
The other option was to release her as is, which is the option we chose to pursue. Since internally we feel that this figure is not up to our standards it will be released in a lower amount than originally scheduled,as we do not feel it truly represents the level of quality we have established for this line. Often times when we are not as happy with the end result on a figure we will prioritize a resculpted figure even if the character is not necessarily a major presence on WWE programming (the new Jinder Mahal in the two pack is an example of this). With that in mind we will be looking a opportunities of placing a Rosa figure again in our 2014 offerings (2013 is set in stone).
So yes, the Rosa figure is not as compelling as it could be and now you know why.
