I don't think Walt went to the camp with the intention of killing Jesse. I think the time alone in the cabin have him time to think and realize how he had screwed up Jesse's life. Then he set out to make an attempt at righting the wrongs he had done. That included leaving money for his family, giving Skyler a way to escape the charges against her, killing the Nazis, and eventually giving himself up to the police. Then when he heard his meth was in circulation again he realized Jesse was probably being forced to cook for the nazis. So he wanted to give Jesse another chance at life and give Jesse a chance at revenge against him. I think Jesse didn't kill Walt because it was what Walt wanted. He also saw that Walt was already bleeding and was gonna die anyway. So that way the death wouldn't be on his hands.
The plot of the episode went pretty much like I expected but I did feel really sad when Walt finally dropped.

So no one else thought the way Walt's relationship with Walt Jr. ended was extremely sad?

So no one else thought the way Walt's relationship with Walt Jr. ended was extremely sad? I totally did. I was hoping he would have a final moment with him like he did with Skyler. He always looked up to his dad and always wanted everything to be perfect. That last scene where he's going in the house and Walt is watching from a distance was so saddening.

So no one else thought the way Walt's relationship with Walt Jr. ended was extremely sad? I think it's terrible I can't believe that it ended that way. That phone call in the previous episode was just messed up. I still don't understand why Walt Junior turned on his father so quickly

And you can't just do that.

The worst part is that Jr. will probably always think Walt killed Hank.

Walt's death reminded me of the way Mike died, being shot in the abdomen and bleeding to death.

That phone call in the previous episode was just messed up. I still don't understand why Walt Junior turned on his father so quickly It seemed out of character when Walt Jr. first called the cops on Walt but when you look at it from his perspective it isn't. Here was a kid who idolized his father and w/in an hour found out that he was the biggest drug kingpin in south-west America, saw him attacking his mother (also taking the knife she had), saw him take his baby sister away, and also heard that he killed his Uncle Hank who he idolized just as much as he did Walt. By the time he got the phone call months later from his dad, his family had been turned upside down and had to move out of their home because of the attention they got from the media and public. His mother was facing federal charges (something I feel she deserved), they were living in a dump, and his Aunt Marie was distraught because they still hadn't found Hank's body yet. I loved how this show stayed as realistic as possible and one of the consequences for Walt's actions was that his relationship with his son was ruined forever. Sad but it was bound to happen.

Walt tore the family apart. He's a murderer. He's a drug dealer. He KILLED his uncle. (as far as Jr. is concerned.) From Walter Jr.'s stand point, he defended his mom against his dad possibly trying to kill them. Yea, can't figure it out.

I didn't say I don't see how Walt jr turned on his father period. Wow people calm the down. I asked why he turned on him SO QUICKLY. He went from one second questioning of his aunt and mother were telling him the truth. To the next second calling the police on his father without really any solid proof of what they were telling him was true at that time. He turned on His dad so bad at that time that he told the police that walts the one who pulled the knife when it was really Skyler.

If your family member had a knife and was wrestling with your other family member and it ends up looking like they're coming after you and family member #2, you're going to pull your phone out and say, "OKAY, HOLD ON. I'm going to call the cops if we don't talk about this and get to the bottom of why it look like you want to kill us. ...And also tell me why they said you killed me uncle. And sell drugs. Yea, you better make it quick or I'm hitting 911!"

So if your father had a knife on your mother, you just found out he killed your uncle, someone whom meant as much to you AS your father, and that he was a druglord and everything he had told you were lies. He is the very reason why your family has been so dysfunctional for the last 2 years. And you'd want to hear him out? Knowing that you're going to be fed more lies? Come on man, please be realistic.

Although I would have beat the cancer out of Walt with one of the crutches if I were in Jr's shoes. If he can get Walt off of Skylar he should be able to swing a crutch like David Ortiz swings a bat.

Do any of you guys have a top 10 episode list? Here is my top 10:
1. Hermanos 2. Salud 3. ozymandias 4. Face off 5. One minute 6. Handful of nothing 7. Box cutter 8. Confessions 9. tohajiilee 10. Dead Freight
I know that's a lot of Gus episodes, but I just loved his character. Probably one of all time favorites. And a top 10 just doesn't do the show any justice. I left out a lot of great episodes.

My ten favorite episodes will probably change when I go to rewatch the whole thing again but as of now they'd probably be . . .
X. Full Measure IX. 4 Days Out VIII. Granite State VII. To'hajiilee VI. Face Off V. Dead Freight IV. Fly III. One Minute II. Ozymandias I. Salud
Lot of great ones out there, had at least ten honorable mentions when limiting this down.
