I can't see any way possible that Hank and Gomez make it out.

But why was Hank so happy to have caught Walt? He doesn't have the money. Therefore, isn't Walt's blackmail confession video tape still valid and something that can come back to haunt Hank? I don't understand why Hank wasn't thinking about that. It's as if the characters forgot all about that. Anyone know? EDIT: I believe the 'brains' in the garbage were there because Hank was using cut up animal parts to film a picture of Jesse with his brains blown out. That's the picture Hank showed to Viscera (Saul's bodyguard). It was a trick. Hank is happy because he finally has Walt caught. He is right in the area where his Millions of Dollars are buried.. that money, along with the fact that Walt had a gun, and confessed to everthing he did and everyone he killed in that phone call with Jesse that got them to track down Walt. He even admitted poisoning Brock for the first time. He also had Jesses AND Huells confessions. Hank had Walt screwed past that video, and Walt knew that. He gave up. And just as he was ready to take the trip to prison well, we saw what happened.

WOW! What a shootout. The whole episode had that intense feeling. I felt so bad that Schrader managed to nab Walt and had a suspicion that Todd's Uncle and his buddies would show up. I see Hank and Gomie getting killed in the shootout, with Jesse surviving by escaping. I can't wait for the final three episodes.

Holy mother of god was that amazing. I literally froze once I saw the trucks approaching in the car mirror's. I can't wait for next week. I just watched the whole series 2 months back, and it is my second favorite show aside from the Walking Dead. I am truly in awe.

I liked the little foreshadowing when Hank was on the phone with Marie telling her he's not sure when he's going to be home. It looks like it's more of an 'if' not a 'when'.

You have to keep in mind that it's obvious it comes public knowledge that Walt is Heisenberg. Question is how? If Jesse escapes, he won't be able to do much himself as far as exposing Walt. Hank has to live. Some how. Gomez, on the other hand, is as good as ed.

couldn't they have just recorded Jesse's phone conversation with Walt as he was driving to the site? I mean he admitted to killing Gus and Emilio in the phone call.

She just knows that Hank had Walt. She could tell everyone it was Walt behind everything but there is nothing to really prove it outside those barrels of cash. Jesse can point the DEA out to it, but they aren't likely to believe him as well as they would Hank.

I'm starting to think Hank gets killed and Walts weird "family dosent get killed" mindstate is going to lead him to pursue Todds and his Uncle hence the Assault Rifle at the beggining of last season. If they seriously let Hank pull the superman card AGAIN and survive a 2 guys with a handgun and a shotgun vs 10 guys with Machine guns battle, then ill have a bad taste in my mouth. If Hank and Gomez don't die in the shoot out the show is over. End of the line. And with 3 hours of story left to tell, Hank and Gomey just can't live through this one. The final showdown should be Walt and Jesse. Not Walt and Hank.

Any idea if the final episode will be 2 hours long or something special?

holy ing shit. I was squirming in my chair as soon as Walt emerged and gave himself up to Hank and Gomez. I was fully expecting a sniper bullet through Hank's beautiful bald head any second. Crazy episode, that will definitely go down as one of the best scenes in the show's history. As for Hank, Jesse and Gomez making it out alive, I now expect them to. I cant see how one would make it out alive and not the others, and i certainly don't see them all dying before the finale. I think Walt's going to have to insist the Nazi's stand down in exchange for the cook. This has always been about family, and I don't think he'd allow Hank to die on his watch, for the sake of Walt Jr if nothing else. Perhaps the Nazis break him out of prison or something in the next episode? man, nazis kinda suck.

I was holding my hands up to my face waiting for a bullet to blow through Gomie's head at any minute! I'm very much relived that there wasn't surprise bullet to someones head, but it isn't looking good for Hank and Gomie. I hope so much that somehow, in a plausible way, both Hank and Gomez can survive the next episode in a way that isn't a cheap ass pull or something unrealistic(Hank causes one of their cars to blow up) for them to survive, but there are a couple ways I could see it going. Like you said, Walt could reason for a ceasefire(either Walt won't cook or threaten suicide), the gunfight attracts police, or possible they attempt to escape in the SUV(leaving Jesse behind?). Unfortunately though, someone probably will die(Gomez since he is the only supporting). I just hope Hank above all can escape. Since the start of the show, I've always seen it as Walt vs Hank. Hanks entire career in the show has been him fallowing Heisenberg's trail of meth. While it would be a poetic death for him(dying right after catching Walt), I just hope he see's the series end alive.

I just don't see there being some kind of compromise where Hank willingly lets Walt go to cook for Uncle Jack. And with the way the episode ended with the car holding Walt being riddled with bullets, I doubt Walt just sticks his head out and asks for them to stop. This confrontation has to end with death, it's just a matter of who.

Hank dying seems likely, but wouldn't such a huge death be an episode ender? Would killing him in the beginning of an episode have the same impact? Unless something even bigger is happening in the end next week.

I don't see Gomez getting out of this alive. And I think Hank either gets severely wounded or taken hostage. And I think if Walt cooks again, he's going to make a "meth bomb" like he did in ...season 1? Or was it 2? And try to take out Todd's uncle & his crew.
