I have a Walgreens and a Bj's opening within five minutes in opposite directions of my house, walking distance. I was wondering if there's any Mattel presence there since my TRU sucks, Target is too far and I don't have a K-Mart. I know Walgreens is a pharmacy but my Rite Aid does carry current basics.

I've never seen any at BJ's but it's hit or miss with Walgreens, some have no figures at all, some have old shelfwarmers, and some people on here find some good stuff.

No, it's a wholesale store like Costco. And no, they don't have figures.

If you don't mind paying $14.99 for a Basic that you probably don't need - then Walgreen's is your place. They typically have 1 or 2 Basics on their shelf. Not usually worth even checking.
BJ's does wholesale - so doubtful they'd even have toys.

I wouldn't bother with either, you'd waste a lot of time constantly checking.

I wouldn't bother with either, you'd waste a lot of time constantly checking. Well I was doubtful about Bj's and I guess Walgreens isn't too different than Rite Aid, figure-wise. Oh well. Once the Walgreens is up though I'll be walking past it whenever I have to get on the train or take one of my two most used buses, so it wouldn't hurt to check once in a while, especially since it'll be brand new and won't have any older figures. I'll check it out. Thanks guys

My Walgreens sells figures for $10.99. I found B18 Hunico and Kelly Kelly there (but of course when I got money they were gone) and bought AJs first basic there. Now they just have boring shelfwarmers.

People on here usually say it's hit and miss with Walgreens. Sometimes they have old and rare basics but sometimes they have shelvewarmers for crazy prices like 14.99.

I am excited to have a Walgreen's so close. Any new place, even for basics, is welcomed. I'll love having a variety of places to hit up
