Is there anyone online who doesn't play long ball? So  ing boring yet everyone i've played does it. Also, EA really need to sort out corners and crosses. Practically score every single one. There apparently appears to be a bug with defending long balls (KSI uploaded a YT video how to score straight from kick off and I presume it works all the time) hence why loads are probably playing that way. |

Half way into my 2nd season at Cardiff City, got to say i'm actually enjoying it after finding it quite difficult in regards to signing players. Just really bought players that I know, player's values aren't that overrated like in previous years either which is a massive plus. Not a fan of player's decreasing for no reason though, Gary Medel was head and shoulders my best player in the first season yet he's decreased dramatically and now hardly ever plays. Finished mid table first season despite only losing a handful of games, just too many draws. This season has been a bit disastrous as I can't help conceding and probably have lost more games than the whole of last season put together, only the form of Lukaku, Ince & Sako are keeping me mid-table. Fifa 14 is awful, they completely killed dribbling and control. Needless to say player ratings are even more ridiculous. Pace abusers are just lobbing through balls onto the likes of Pato so any central defender without 80+ pace gets burnt.

Not a fan of player's decreasing for no reason though, Gary Medel was head and shoulders my best player in the first season yet he's decreased dramatically A bit worried about this. I haven't had it happen for no reason, but Lukaku got an injury and every single one of his stats dropped by 1 or 2, which was really bloody annoying. The player growth is a bit erratic as well. Anthony Martial made 4 appearances in my first season, and went up by 4. Tin Jedvaj was on excellent form and started virtually every game from February onwards due to defensive injures. His only stat to go up was his aggression, which went up be 1. Absolute joke. |

Growth is perfect for me. Most of my young boys have gone up 3 or 4 after half a season and everyone else that has played well gone up 1 or 2. Only player gone down is Michael Duff who's 36 and retiring at the end of the season anyway. Even my loaned out players are steadily rising.
Only dodgy one is Tom Heaton going up 4 despite being 2nd choice and my first choice not gone up any (he's only 19).

Growth seems a hell of a lot better than last year. Started as Liverpool (always do for some reason) Gerrard retired at the end of the 3rd Season and only went down 3 overall. I remember on Fifa 13 he went down more than that in a year! Both times being first choice.
Sending the youth players out on loan generally ups them between 3-5 ratings a year so that's not too bad. Only strange one is Luke Shaw who's only gone up 1 per season as first choice LB whereas Jack Robinson has gone up 12 in the same amount of time playing from the bench.

Absolute joke. tbf on mine it just seems to be Gary Medel, players like Tom Ince, Steven Caulker and even Joey Barton have increased by 2 or 3 for playing well. Just seemed a bit harsh on Medel who at 26/27 isn't even at the height of his peak yet so has no right to decrease dramatically. Bought Jake Livermore in for £2.5m anyway who is 3 years younger and rated 78. |

First season is coming to an end, me and my brother have begun getting on top of the gameplay on Professional after huge problems on World and Pro, eventually got it working. Ended the season really strongly, finished 2nd in the league, beating Liverpool to it by 20 goals. Have champions league final against Dortmund w/Javier Hernandez, (traded for Gundogan), who is top of both: 9 goals & 6 assists, gonna get him back. De Gea was sold by the board to Bayern after he was homesick...... Made loads of deals happen in Jan. Starting lineup 4-5-1 Attack:
