First season is coming to an end, me and my brother have begun getting on top of the gameplay on Professional after huge problems on World and Pro, eventually got it working. Ended the season really strongly, finished 2nd in the league, beating Liverpool to it by 20 goals. Have champions league final against Dortmund w/Javier Hernandez, (traded for Gundogan), who is top of both: 9 goals & 6 assists, gonna get him back. De Gea was sold by the board to Bayern after he was homesick...... Made loads of deals happen in Jan. Starting lineup 4-5-1 Attack:

Played this to death for the first few weeks, the haven't played it in a week or so. Half way through the second season on my Tottenham career mode. Won the League, FA Cup and League Cup in the first season. Not doing very well in the league this season, as Manchester City signed Falcao and are winning every single game. Negotiated my Champions League group in first place and got Real Sociedad in the last 16. Heres my current starting XI Lloris (84)

Lamela is brilliant to play with as a RF, cut inside on his left foot and he'll score goals for fun.

He's rubbish for me; he's so slow, terrible ball control and rarely scores. His stats are amazing, and he's rated 85, but he plays more like a 65. Armindo Bruma is miles better; very, very fast, good dribbler and scores a bucket load for me. Same as Zakaria Bakkali and Viktor Fischer.

Me neither. Crowd is irrelevant really when you're supposed to be playing the game. They'd be OK in cutscenes but those camera angles never ever happen after a goal is scored anyway, unless they're new for the next gen.

Hey does anyone know if the second round of qualifying for the World Cup is in? I became England manager at the begin of the first season of career thanks to that thing you can buy in the catalogue. However England had already missed out on top spot of the group. Would really suck to miss out on the World Cup especially as for some reason England were doing crap in a completely different group to real life. Also might as well mention my Brighton team. So far only to the end of October but doing well. Top of the championship with 30 points, Watford in 2nd with 27. Just beat them a few minutes ago to get that lead from them and feels good. Overall really happy with my squad and I do a lot of rotation and keep things fresh and give everyone a chance. Januzaj was a good signing. Never even knew who he was till i got him and looked him up to see his debut the other week for United. Was able to get him on loan with a future fee of about 1.9m so very happy with that. Also am I the only person to never bother with a 2nd keeper? I have two others but never use them, not even on the bench. |

I don't bother with a 2nd GK on the bench. In all my years playing FIFA I've never had to sub the GK so I'd rather not have him wasting a bench spot. With 7 subs I usually want to have players who can fill in at any possible spot in case of injury (like a CM who can also play LM, RM and CDM.)
I do however use 2nd and 3rd GKs every now and then if I've rotated the rest of the squad for a cup game or something.

I played a match the other day and my mate had his keeper sent off for taking out my striker. It does happen, just rarely. If you were playing online I'd definitely recommend one as you'll get smashed if you need a sub keeper and don't have one. It's probably different for Career Mode. |

Just on Fifa 14, I've had my keeper sent off three times, and it happened loads on Fifa 13, so I always have a back-up keeper on the bench.

Happened a few times on FIFA 13 but haven't had it happen to me on this years. It's happened to a few opposition keepers when i've tried taking the ball around them though. I normally keep a backup keeper on the bench, just feels weird if I don't :S

FINALLY bought Aguero IF for my Ultimate Team. The prices were around 700-900k at the weekend, but I just got one on BIN for 497. Lavezzi IF is next for my left wing.
