Bale is Batman just like RDJ is Iron Man, no question about it. So what is everyones thoughts on who will be his replacement in the future films if he does not hop on board? It just wouldn't feel right without Bale as Batman, and i read an article that says Ryan Gosling is being considered for the next Batman role..which I hope is a joke, I like him and everything but that's just .. no.. just no

Bale played Batman so well that I honestly dont know of anyone that can just take the spot and do as well as him. Its like someone trying to do the Rocky/Rambo character other then Stallone.

There are plenty that could play Batman, I wasn't a huge fan of Bale as Batman.

Re-cast Michael Keaton as his replacement.
Eyebrow acting. I love it.

Bale had three films as batman. It's time to give the role to someone new. Give someone else a chance.

You must be a teenager if you think Bale hung the moon on Batman. There were many before him and there will be many after him.

To me, there's no question that Bale is head and shoulders above anyone else that ever played the part. I'm guessing WB will let him name his price for the next handful of movies. Bale as Batman is the biggest singular box office draw in history. I'd be very surprised if they didn't make him a very rich offer to continue on with the role.

James Bond, Doctor Who, Batman, Spiderman, Superman.
Actors change, get over it.

Bale was awesome at the role but he's not the be-all, end-all of actors to play Batman.

Rumor is they offered Christian Bale $50 million to come back, so clearly they want him and are trying to sway him to return. I like him, so hopefully he agrees.
I just don't want somebody awful like Chaning Tatum.

Bale was awesome at the role but he's not the be-all, end-all of actors to play Batman. I think he is. Not that other actors can't take on the role and be successful, but I think the Batman character has likely peaked for the foreseeable future unless Bale returns.

I enjoyed Michael Keaton as Batman a lot better than Christian Bale. I want them to reboot the Batman mythos with this Superman team up so we can have those supernatural characters like Killer Croc, Solomon Grundy, a proper Poison Ivy and Mr. Freeze.

Bale was baaaaaad.
Kevin Conroy IS Batman.
I have several choices I would make for Batman, each way it ends up being an older guy.

if Bales Batman was half as good as RDJs Stark then I MIGHT agree.
Bale will be easily replaced...this notion that people have about "Bale IS Batman" needs to stop.
it succeeded HUGELY before him and it will succeed after him.I much prefer Keatons Batman from 89 to Bales and always have.I liked Bale as Batman but this notion that he is irreplaceable is nuts boys.

I loved Bale as Batman, and I would love for him to come back. Would be awesome to see him and Cavil on the same screen.

I think George Clooney was a good batman, he was just screwed with a shitty script

Yea, like rpetty much everyone here, I agree that Bale wasn't the best Batman. Keaton was, and tbh I think always will be Batman for so many, the first two films (89 and Returns) are probably the closest in terms of tone from the comics (not in plot and details). Hell, even Kilmer was a great Batman and better than Bale, and like someone else said, Clooney wasn't bad, he was playing a certain type of Batman, if the film were to have been more serious, then I'm more than certain that Clooney would have nailed it.

As awesome as Bale was as Batman, about half way through 'Rises, I got tired of him. It's time for a new Bruce Wayne.
The only problem is, people will be giving the new Batman a hard time and comparing him to Bale, simply because Bale's Batman is still a recent thing and yes, he was so good at it.
Then again, in the early 90's so was Keaton. Things change, things move on, people will get used to it.
