I don't think Cena is a bad wrestler. He trained with Samoa Joe and Christopher Daniels so he can't be that bad. But I think the thing is with Cena, is that it's "cool" to hate Cena. So everyone says they hate him.
I don't hate Cena, but he's not one of my favourites either. I just think he gets a lot of unneeded hate. The guy's a class act when it comes to fans, kids, and sick kids at that!
I actually think a lot more people like Cena than they admit. It's like back in the early 90s when it wasn't 'cool' to like wrestling anymore, so everyone said "I don't watch that, it's fake" and yet they still did. Just didn't want anyone to know. Then in 98, Steve Austin and DX made it 'cool' to say "I love wrestling!! I watch it all the time!!" The same can probably be said about Cena.

While his character is stale, he's still good otherwise. He can deliver in the ring and has done some great promo work.

What I meant by 5 year olds is that 99.9% of kids I have seen wearing a WWE shirt with the different wrestlers on it, are 5 years old. I saw a kid at work who was about 5 years old who showed me his FlexForce John Cena and said this is John Cena and he showed me his belt. I didn't even ask him about his figure.

His matches are usually worth skip [Bring in the the top teir wrestlers he has faced matches] He's awful, and WWE has been awesome without guys like him and Sheamus on my TV/Computer[Since I also watch WWE online ] I totally don't see how Cena fans exist on here, I just think some of you guys are simple minded and accept the way Cena floats around WWE and is respect for things any other guy would do if given the same opportunities that he has been given!

Outside the ring, yes. On the show, absolutely detest everything he does (except when he destroyed Dwayne Johnson on the mic during their recent feud).

I'm a fan but not a huge fan. I have huge respect for the guy for everything that he does for the WWE.

And would you even consider the match any good, isn't even memorable, and only be due to Khali being way taller than Cena[Like a David and Goliath scenario]. Daniel Bryan, Christian, RVD and many more on that current roster. I'd even prefer Ziggler over Cena, though I'm not a big fan of the guy compared to many on here.

He puts on great matches, prob the only wrestler that would stop for a photo or autograph just a stale gimmick (does he even have one?).
And too add, i own his blue 10 years strong t-shirt.

If big vs small was all it took for a match to be considered good and fondly remembered then why don't I hear heaps of praise for Khali vs Ric Flair or Khali vs any other guy smaller than him? I bet you fans of Cena are fans of Bryan, Christian and RVD.

May I didn't make it clear enough in my last post, but I didn't mean for a match to be good over big vs. small - but only being remember for it being big vs. small. And as for that, I'm sure Cena isn't in a top 5 or 10 of the list of someone like that. And for someone that'll jump to say he is, is just trying to be 'different'. I think many like to mix in ring work, with stuff out side the ring, and it would be unfair to bring that up if it was to be something like who's better Cena or Cody Rhodes.

I hated thug life Cena. I didn't watch much then though. His freestyles were pretty good, but I still couldn't take him seriously. I don't love Cena, but I don't hate him either. I respect the hell out of him. He has cut some pretty damn good promos in his day, but haters still refuse to admit it. He borders on reality sometimes, and I like that. He works his ass off out of the ring for the WWE. I will say that I hate the fact that he's an 11 time champ or something crazy like that.

I think hes great. Hes always entertaining. His matches rarely disappoint, although I do get a little tired of his character from time to time.

But you are right, Cena wouldn't be in my top 5 current guys even though Bryan is in it (Christian is not though). If it was top 5 or 10 all time Bryan wouldn't even be in.

Yes I am a fan of him. I used to HATE him but over the past year he's grown on me and is in my top 10 favorite wrestlers going today, Disgusting Its just my opinion, I love how much of a workhorse he is and I respect the hell out of him. His promo on Miz TV sold me on being a fan.

I rarely watch his promos but do watch his matches. Dispite popular opinion, guy can go in the ring. I'd say I'm a fan.

I didn't like him for a long time, but I'll say I'm a fan. I respect him for what he does outside the ring, and his in-ring work has been really good over the past 2 years.
