IMO they should make more for the internet and see how they sell. ESR in 2010 when they first started was a bad decision. People weren't sold on Mattel yet. Now, they have a bigger market. I cant tell you how many times I heard "Mommy, my ring is to small. I want a bigger one." At a store. If they did a store exclusive or internet exclusive, they would see that people want a bigger ring. THIS X1000

With all of the arena playsets out, it would be the perfect time to make a new ring to top off the new playsets IMO.

A few hundred people on this board will not make a difference, because retailers already said no they don't want to carry it. So Mattel's not going to take another loss on it selling it to discount stores like big lots. The consumers didn't want to buy it when it was at mass retail for $65. so that would mean they'd need to make it an exclusive. And that would mean a much lower production run which would equal a much higher cost than their original $65 MSRP. So they know that would be a failure again because they'd have to sell it to Big Lots again. They want to make a profit not lose money. It will never get released again. Like I said in my previous post, they could do it like they did with the Ecto 1 for the Ghostbusters. They put it up for pre-order if they don't get the minimum Pre-orders they won't produce it. It seems like an easy way to rerelease it and guarantee it's profitability.

And it wouldn't make the limit needed to go forward just like the DC sub. (I finally got credited do that) and I think the Echo-1 and Castle Greyskull. Didn't they both miss their targeted goals also?
