I got it this morning!! I'll post pics tomorrow.
The differences between the Mattel version and the Shop.WWE.com version:
Size: The new one is larger and a little heavier than the old one, in every sense of the term. Plate size, Velcro size, strap width, though the old one is a little longer.
Main plate: The new one has stones, has the same cut out portion as the adult replica (no cut out space between the Ws), and outlined "Champion" in black, whereas the old one doesn't have any of these features, at all.
Side plates: The new one has stones, red and black paint, and even included the 2 outer stones on the side plates, but removed the bars, whereas the old one is the complete exact opposite.
Velcro: I know, odd category. Not only are the Velcro pieces longer and wider, but they were also both sown on. That right there made me look to the future of Toy Belts!! I can only imagine what the other Belts in the WWE would be like if they were made like my 3rd Big W!!
For $20 (plus about $9 for shipping and tax) it's worth every penny. For anyone who collects this version of Championship Title Belts, like I do, go order it right now!!

Why are the strap lengths always awkward? To cover kids from about three years old to [whatever age kids stop wearing wrestling belts]. For a smaller/skinnier kid, you cut the strap down to where it needs to be. I remember buying the live event WWF title, it looked nothing like the winged eagle belt. The IC belt was a little better, but I think it was brown! Yeah, I remember the old title they sold too. The winged eagle debuted (I think) on The Main Event in 1988 when Andre beat Hogan for the title, but they kept selling the previous design for years. I bought one at a live event in 1991. At some point during Warrior's reign, they did the winged eagle belt for kids but I think that was only sold in stores, they kept hawking the old style ones at events. yeah,the infamous WWF foam Belts! indeed,they kept using the old Hogan'86 design for the WWF Championship Belt well into the 90's:  but the IC and Tag Belts were current up til the late 90's...   WCW even did their own version,which,sadly,appeared when the '91 design was in use,so therefore was immediately out of date!  the Hasbro one was indeed sold in stores. and on the surface,looked great!  UNTIL....you opened it. the main plate was just a sticker slapped on a plastic front,that would immediately start getting air bubbles all over the place.not to mention no side plates at all.   |

Fed Ex finally updated the tracking info, estimated delivery is Wednesday, Dec. 4th. so that'll give you an idea when to expect pics.

The first review of the belt on YouTube! It looks good and the main plate measures 8" by 8"... Pretty big for a kids toy belt and definitely bigger than the one from Mattel! >>> |

I COULD - emphasis on could - get mine today,as it arrived at my local post office yesterday.but there's usually a pattern with FedEx Smartpost packages with me,where it takes another 2 days after it arrives at the post office to be delivered . so today is slightly possible,tomorrow is more likely...

After seeing that video, I think I'm sold. I see myself getting this toy belt one way or another just for the sake of having it even though I already have the lifesize replica..haha..
