Hey everyone, I was just wondering if anyone knows if the Glow Paint Jeff Hardy Exclusive's head is to scale with WWE Mattel Elite sized figures. I am contemplating purchasing one to do an elite fix-up, using the torso that one could find on that of a Zack Ryder Elite for instance. I'm more so concern with it looking like a bobble head, but if its a little bit bigger than the body it's fine with me. Finally, I know there isn't a good chance, but if someone owns the figure and can share if the tank top can fit on a Mattel torso without it being too baggy? Thank you all for the time!

No, it's huge compared to elites.. Think TNA Deluxe Impact or Jakks Deluxe Aggression size figures

It's going to look like a bobble head. Best Jeff Hardy head to use is R3. Perfectly in scale.

Your best bet is just to use an R3 Hardy head and some acrylic phosphorescent paint.

Jakks DIs might as well be called Ring Giants. They are discustingly big and out of scale and got me out of collecting jakks after 7 years. Put it next to a Mattel if you want a real laugh.

His head is about the same size as a Mattels entire torso

Jakks figures about an inch taller than all Mattels, so as others have said, it's not even close in scale.

If you want your Jeff to look like he's in space without a helmet then you should be good. If not... I wouldn't do it.

This is the same Jeff body, the head is the same size but looks smaller because it has less hair, but here is it with mattels. Miz is about how big A mattel Jeff would have to be. The DA head's are usually about 1.5 the size of most mattels and thus are way to big.

Now don't be discouraged to do Jakks headswaps. As you could probably see by Raven's sig, there are older Jakks scans that fit perfectly or close to it on Mattel bodies. The peg for the neck is the same size on Jakks figures as Mattels, and the older figures didn't used to have the huge heads (or as everyone on the Jakks boards have lovingly refers to as 'balloon heads'). Somewhere after the first year of Deluxe Aggression figures being out Jakks' priorities shifted. With the DA line they originally claimed that the scale was going to be fixed as DA's are larger than RA's. That never happened and instead they started specifically making heads for DA scale, making the RA's appear to have those 'balloon heads'. Old RA heads from the first years as well as R3 figures work lovely for customs.

Theres a few and I mean very few DA heads that will work on a mattel. just about all TTL and R3 will, FM too, but RA's are hit and miss, some one them are even too big for their factory bodies. If you're brave enough, you can splice faces from a head thats too big and a smaller base head to get it to fit. This is risky if you don't know what you're doing or aren't using a rubber hair piece or plan of sculpting over the seams. The only good Jeff Hardy heads for a mattel would be the R3 tech one, or the older TLL/FM ones. The first RA with the purple face paint may fit but its just an old FM head with different hair on it. All the ones they made of him after he came back from TNA had DA sized heads. I have a Rare RA head that I think is from his first RA figure after his WWE return that they only used once and because of the hair (Purple tips) its nearly 3X too big for the appropriate Elite torso, but sadly I keep it around as I think it's one of the best scans they ever made.
