A very funny man tragically died  . One of my all time favorite actors, a person who was truly great in everything he ever did. RIP John. |

Never forget. Ritter is my all time favorite comedic actor. So fearless.

I remember the day he died vividly. I was only 14 but was so bummed. Loved Stay Tuned and It. And then the next day we lost Johnny Cash and things got worse.

RIP Ritter. I will never forget John Cena's feud with The Undertaker, and using Ritters death in his rap the same week Ritter passed!

I never liked the guy. Way too hammy. He was annoying as hell on Three's Company. That's the same reason I don't like Carol Burnett or Jim Carrey either.

I watched 8 Simple Rules a lot as a kid and when I heard he died I was absolutely shocked.

But here's a line from a rap Cena did a few days after he died. "John Cena's more American than silicone strippers. Leaving cats dead in their tracks with heart attacks like John Ritter"

He was a big part of childhood watching Problem Child videos and Three's Company reruns. It was an ensemble cast for sure but if he had left (like Sommers) the show would be over IMO.
His creativity showed in correspondence with fans both in person and through mail. He would add something else to his autograph like with my name he signed it J (uly) A (ugust) S (eptember) O (ctober) N (ovember) as opposed to Jason since it corresponds with the five months of the year. He was a kind hearted person from all accounts.
