Been out of the DCD (or whatever theyre called now) loop for the last few years. Got a new job that allows me to afford expanding the collection. Any suggestions on newer figures to purchase? Like, stuff i could still get at my LCS or upcoming releases to look out for? I recommend the Arkham Origins Batman figure. He's a little pricey, but they're doing a repaint in an upcoming box set. That's a NICE figure. A lot of people here like the Arkham City figures as well, and the Arrow/Deathstroke two-pack seems to be getting a lot of love. i love the display and if you don't mind what kind of foam do you use? Thanks man! I just use 1" insulation foam from Home Depot. |

Gotta be something about it being MOC also. Loose he's not selling for damn near anything. I've got two loose ones, but they're incomplete and, let's face it, I like them so I'm not selling them regardless  |

Oddly enough Retro Batman from Mask of the Phantasm line is another true to the series figure since It appeared in flashbacks, doesn't command a lot of money |

Yeh Combat Belt Batman was awesome. I gave mine the cape/glider from Lightning Strike Batman when I was a kid, for a fully-caped look.
The prices will probably go down when the new collector Batman TAS figure line gets going and we see a TAS version of Batman in that.

I just bought the little lady Total Justice Huntress on eBay, as she recently started reading comics, and has heavily gravitated to the late 80's/early 90's DC femme fatales like Huntress, Catwoman and Poison Ivy.

Also, my predictions -
Merlyn comes back and saves Thea Queen, all like "heard there was a problem in the city" and sees mad Deathstroke mask dudes. Says "luckily I brought my army of League of Assassin boys and I'm the lesser of two evils, largely-forgotten-about, 'first-season' villain!"
Queue giant battle between super strong soldiers and ninjas, leaving Arrow to fight Deathstroke one on one.
Almost defeated, Slade takes 10 vials of Mirakuru and says "I promised to bring you…your DOOMSDAY!" and turns into a big gray rock monster and fights Arrow.
(Not that last part though, that better not really happen).

Figure-wise, though, I actually think a bunch of the Arrow Deathstroke figures would look cool led by an Arkham Origins Deathstroke. The all-black design of the Arrow figure makes them passable for masked thugs/assassins, etc. |
