DCD is pretty much superior than Mattel for all the Arkham figures, from what I've seen. Mattel's Batman is nothing great, but DC Collectibles' is awesome, one of my favorite Batman figures. Still haven't seen Deathstroke, but once I do, I'll definitely be grabbing one.

Had some time to get some project work done today. Continued with that city building diorama, started building a base for it (should have done that FIRST - I'll know for next time). Back side - the floor is that knitting grid, it's gonna be a lab so I'll paint that grid stuff up a silver or gray color to make it look nice. Painted street, mostly done - Also, I've had one of those Mattel Batmobiles from the kids' line laying around forever. Finally got a coat of paint on it, been meaning to do so forever now. I think it looks nice. It's small for the Arkham figures, but it's in decent scale with DCUCs. Not PERFECT scale, but it's passable. I'm thinking of adding silver/blue details, since the canopy is already blue, plus those are traditional Batman colors. What do you guys think?

Looks great. Also I think that is how the proto of the Batmobile looked. I remember seeing pics of it in black prior to it's release. Also it does fit the Total Heroes line. I am sure the DCUC would fit as well if not for their rubber capes.

I do remember seeing protos for a black Batmobile, but couldn't remember if it was this one or not. Thanks man, and yeah the DCUCs are better scaled with it. I want to go back and mod one of my blue/gray Batman figures with a cloth cape just for the hell of it. Now, if I do, he can ride around in style

Officially back on the DCD bandwagon with a few purchases. Picked up the new 52 Joker at an unbelievable price. Too good to pass up. Then, similarly, a very good deal on the History of the DC Universe Batman and Flash presented itself ,and i had to jump on it. Im looking into that Arkham Batman and Bane two pack and chomping at the bit to get my hands on that new Capullo Batman signature figure. Just finished reading my first new 52 piece in Death of the Family......looks like DC has reeled me back in despite my initial displeasure with the relaunch. Suicide Squad also looks promising to me, so i fully intend to snag Boomerang,Harley, and Deadshot asap as well.

Saw the new DC Multiverse wave today at TRU. I was going to pick up the unmasked/regular Batman until they rang up $14.99 each.

They're nice, but by no means are those $15 figures to me. $10 was pushing it for the POA that we got in series 1.

^ That Adam West Batman is a thing of beauty. Hot Toys kills it again.

Multiverse $15 at TRU, but $8.99-9.99 at Target, Mattel and Wal-Mart. 3.75" Power Attack $8.99 at TRU and $6.99 everywhere else. They are pricing themselves out of sales. All three of those lines were flying off their shelves then they (tru) raise the prices a couple $ and they still sold, but at a slower pace. Now they raise the prices to the above prices and I've not seen anything in those lines move since.

I didn't notice on the Total Heroes, but it seems that they bump the prices when they get a fresh case of something in, so that may be the reason too. On a Marvel note, I don't think the 10 Superior Spider-Man that they raised to $23.99 will be going anywhere either.

I saw blue beetle and a car a few months back. Looks great. then the other day I saw Brainiac and Batman with bat-pod type cycle for the Imaginext.

These look incredible. My main concern at this point is DC Collectibles quality control, since all their figures I've had in the past have seemed pretty fragile.
Also I hope we'll see alternate heads with these. I'm not sure I really want my Robin smiling.

You gotta admire the skills of these sculptors, it must be really tough to translate 2D animated characters to a 3D figure while keeping the look as close as possible.

Those new animated series guys are must haves. I worry about how the new adventures guys will stand though. They are very top heavy.
