I agree, but FYI DC Collectibles said they will be making both BTAS and TNBA versions of all characters in the line. Whether they'll stick to that though remains to be seen.

Personally I'm only gonna collect the BTAS versions, except for characters exclusive to the TNBA style such as Nightwing.

Wonder if they might do a few Batman Beyond characters if this line lasts long enough? And Superman TAS? I don't want many characters from those shows personally, but a few would be nice. Old Bruce Wayne, Future Batman Bruce Wayne, Batman Terry McGuinness, Superman etc

By & Large? I liked MOST of the TNBA redesigns.

and I liked Penguin & Riddler returning to their roots....Catwoman Im 50/50 on as I REALLY liked the TAS version. But I really disliked the redesigns of Gordon & Joker. Batman Beyond: Return Of The Joker fixed him by redesigning the head and then JLU used that too and it was A1.

But TNBA Joker remains a black eye for me to the Timmverse!!

I hated most of the TNBA redesigns. Batman/Bruce ended up looking younger/too young, and Catwoman looked ridiculous and unrealistic compared to the other characters, in my opinion.

Oh man I want that Robin and Joker so bad.

These things are a joke, WHY OH WHY couldn't they just have made them 6 inch movie masters style? They're barely any better than the original 5 inch ones from the early 1990s. Basically they look like cheap kids toys, not the high-quality collector figures everyone wanted.

I dunno about you guys but I've been wishing for high-quality Batman 1989/Batman Returns collector figures for years, and they finally announce them, and make them 4 inch? Such a disappointment.

At least the BTAS line has the right idea. I just hope that maybe DC Collectibles will do some 6 or 7 inch Batman 1989/Batman Returns figures at some point.

Man I can't believe the amount of people complaining about this reveal on Facebook saying it should be BTAS Batman, Batgirl, Harley Quinn, etc. It's called pacing people! They've already said they're planning this to be a long and extensive line, they don't wanna put all their A-listers in the first couple of series'! And believe me I'm one of the most critical and perfectionist collectors you'll ever meet so if something warrants criticism or the manufacturers are dropping the ball in any area I'll be right there! But this series looks amazing so far and I can't see how anyone could complain, at least in these early stages.

I scored a DCD Silver Age Batgirl/Joker set MIB for 12.50 on the Bay . I used to own all those Silver Age sets years ago. Looks like I'll be buying them all over again.......lol.....i seem to be lacking focus right now. The plan to concentrate on new 52 initially, has been thrown out the window in a frenzy of "i see it....i buy it" crazines. I need to regroup and stick with a gameplan, but its hard to do when i see good deals too hard to pass up .
