Official Batman/DC Figure Thread...

I picked up Nightwing and Talon from my local comic shop. I wasn't planning on buying them, but they looked great on the store's shelf. Overall, I'm happy with them. However Nightwing's calves are bugging me. I think they might be assembled wrong, as if they should be swapped. If this were a Mattel, I would've swapped them, no problem. I'm worried about attempting it on this figure.

I ordered the DC comics designer series one Batman tonight from my local comic shop, I will be picking it up next Friday. I can't wait, the figure looks great, and I got a good deal on it considering the outrageous online prices this line is going for.

I have the same situation. I've noticed that Big Bad tends to release their preorders later than everyone else.

Picked these up today at TRU. They rang up at $14.99, but the tag said $10.99, so they did a price adjustment. If they wouldn't have given me the adjustment, there is no way I would have bought them.





Batman has the swivel joint above his knee but Zod does not. The material they used for the cape is awesome and looks incredible.



Passed on this because the head looks like a cartoon. And I didn't want to spend $30 on figures that may just end up in a box with the Ultimate GI Joes I bought last month. Also, there were a lot of really bad paint apps on Batman's logo. If you ordered them online, good luck, I hope you get a good one.

So, today was my 23rd Birthday. Got money from the family and the Die Hard Collection from the In-Laws, but what blew my mind the most was the gift from my wife.

I ha no idea that she even paid too much attention to my collections, but she gave me a box and said "Sorry I didn't wrap it, but I saw you didn't have this was on the shelf, so I got it for you." Now, it kind of scared me because I wasn't sure if she had gotten me a figure that I don't collect or possibly something I already had or that I didn't have any intention of getting. BOY WAS I WRONG!!! I opened the box up and this guy was in it, MOC! I couldn't find it anywhere or a decent price. Usually we put about a $50 cap on gifts for each other, but I knew she must've spent more on this.




Glad to add Zsasz to my Collection!!

I have Sideshow 1:6 scale Joker and Catwoman on the way! I'll post pics hopefully on Friday. Harley Quinn will be next in June, Followed by Batman in July.

I really hope Sideshow makes a Riddler, Bane, Two-Face, Robin, and Poison Ivy down the road.

Only if they don't break under their own weight like most DCD figures and that d@mn clear brittle plastic they continue to use on the pins. But like the fool I am I just preordered the new DCD "Son of Batman" figures that went up for preorder today.
