I saw that 2-pack at Target yesterday but that Superman head ruins that set of me. My regular Hush Superman and Tim Drake Robin are out for delivery today. Yeah, I've seen some pics online where people gave it a longer neck peg. The face still isn't ideal, but it helps a lot. I thought maybe the smile with the bright colors would make for a more "cartoony" variation of Sups.   Just so you know I hold you personally responsible when explaining to my wife as to why I purchased this set today after repeatedly bashing on it the other several times she was with me when I passed on it. lol |

My Platinum Edition Superman arrived from McFarlane Toys Store today. It looks so much better with the red boots, but I do like the S shield of the regular figure more than this one.    Hot Wheels made the car from that Comic as a SDCC Exclusive |

Amazon took for the McFarlane Batmobile overnight. So I guess that is arriving on time. Every other McFarlane preorder I have has been delayed.

Like I mentioned above they took the money overnight for it but as of now I still haven’t received any shipping information. Although my order went from “Process of Shipping” to “Shipping now”.

That was (and still is) a great toy line. That set along with a Flash(?) Blue Beetle set was part of Hasbro’s original Collector’s online shop.. I remember when I found a fresh case of Series 1 on the pegs of TRU and I still have mine. As far as the capes go they weren’t glued on. Some had pegs but none were glued. Kyle’s head does turn so it must be an issue with yours. I remember when I got this set I wished the original Kyle was in this figures pose, because the original figures is to hyper posed. It was the one figure I had trouble standing. I think the best two figures from this line were the Emerald Twilight Hal Jordan (still my all time favorite Hal figure) and the Aquaman. |

I've gotten numerous requests to do more retro reviews, so I might buy another Kyle & Parallax to open for reviews. I remember the days quite well when these were lining the toy aisles. They might seem obsolete by today's standards, especially in terms of articulation, but compare them to the original Super Powers line, any it's easy to see that Hasbro was putting effort into more eye-catching body molds and sculpting details to appeal to older collectors as well as kids. |

Maybe it’s just me, but I feel like this new McFarlane Batman from the Batman vs Spawn 2-Pack has a major Hasbro Collectors Exclusive LotDK Dark Knight Detective Batman vibe to it.   So I really hope he gives us a blue & grey variant at some point, because that is my favorite Hasbro Batman figure of all-time.  |
