I scored most of the stuff I wanted from them too man.......but I did miss Gordon & Lois Lane. And both go for obscene prices nowadays. I have Gordon. I want Lois Lane but she goes for what you said MOC or loose I actually bought her in 2003 for 25 loose on Ebay and never received her.......I was pissed & then just moved on to getting Alfred......but damn I regret not pursuing her more efficiently |

Just noticed BTAS Catwoman is back in stock at Amazon UK (since apparently I was too slow ordering with the first lot of stock). I've just ordered 3, with the hope that it will be enough to end up with one decently painted, unbroken figure. Usually when I know there are quality control issues with a figure I'll try to find it in a real world store so I can pick out the best one, but in this case I seriously doubt any stores round here will get it in.
Luckily I don't encounter this problem too often. I remember I was dreading getting a set of the TMNT Classic Collection wave 1 due to the quality control issues, but thankfully a few stores round here got those in. And although I must have looked through maybe 20-30 whole sets (and yes I'm serious) I did eventually manage to find a nicely painted set of them without having to resort to buying online.
Trouble is, I'm a huge Batman TAS fan and will most likely be buying nearly all the figures, and a few Batman NA figures too. So I really hope DC Direct tightens up their quality control soon, or else ordering multiples online will probably become a regular thing... I'm not too hopeful though considering they've had problems like this going back many years and done nothing about it. Why do they have to use such brittle plastic...

Xensation Collectibles (whoever they might be) has these out.    Not sure how companies like this get around copyright and licensing issues, aside from just changing names to "Mr. ?" and "Double Face." That said, if they make a Keaton Bruce Wayne, I'm buying it. |

And Haggar, I would guess they get around copyrights having them designed and made in a country that doesn't give a crap about US copyright law.

Sweet! Just received an email saying my DC Collectables "Sons of Batman" set is in. These were figures I was really hoping would have made it in time for Christmas, but 2 weeks later isn't to bad.

Did anyone order Doomsday Unleashed? I still haven't received mine yet anyone having this problem? My roommate did. He just sent Matty an email, I'm waiting to hear what happens with all this. |

I coulda swore I heard they were/are having a port strike on the east coast? And that was the reason but wanted to find out if anyone here go theirs yet.

Nope still waiting..been waiting since the 10th of December. Was supposed to be a birthday gift for myself but nothing came. They should of put him as out of stock instead of in stock. |

I did get my Damien Wayne Robin which went on sale on Matty in Dec. Not sure how if there's a strike the Robin would have made it to them. Personally I think they had to make more Doomsday figures and that is the holdup. |

    He comes with extras!  The likeness is incredible   The cowl actually would come off, it's rubber. But there's not a "full" head underneath  Different poses      $25 at TRU but for me it's sooooo worth it. A few notes: - The belt does NOT come off...it's attached to his hip part, but its "loose" at the top, meaning you can stick the batarang in it, and his torso is a swivel - The cape connector under his cowel seems very weak, like it could rip easily. The cape basically fits over his head if there was no cowel - Joints are pretty stiff and it's easy to pose. Re-attaching different hands was tough at first, had to use some good strength to pop them on - The shiny details really stand out and the chest "piece" being loose, kind of hanging on his front is for movement. - The gun's handle is weird, doesn't look like I think it should - Batarang doesn't really fit in his hand well |

Well I did get the other two figures I ordered that day and I could of swore I read on another forum someone called Matty and that's the reason they gave. Maybe I will call and see what the say but no one has gotten the Doomsday that ordered it yet on here? |

Weird how I haven't seen it mentioned on any of the toy sites/forums I visit. Kinda cool. Although an alternate, fully-sculpted unmasked head would have been better. Would love to see a customizer try and turn this into a proper unmasked head. |
