So has anyone purchased any of those new smaller less articulated Avengers figures? I picked up the Captain America. With the exception of the no knee articulation this is what I wish the Batman vs Superman 5" line was designed like. I haven't seen these yet, I have seen someone review a 5" cartoon Black Widow, is she in this set/series? And what series are they currently on? Its Captain, Hulk, Iron Man, and Widow. Ive seen Spiderman figures in this line, but not sure what series.

I've seen Hulk, Widow, Captain online, but I can't seem to find a picture of the Ironman. Also, I wonder how much taller the Dollar General 5POA Marvel characters are compared to these? Because in that series, there is a Spiderman, Giant Man, and Thor.

Hmm, interesting.. I wonder when these will show up at retail, because I haven't seen these anywhere in my area. Also, does anyone know the MSRP? because ebay ranges from 9.99 to 23.00 USD haha.

I just wish the Hulk had elbow and knee joints, he is just basically a scaled down Titan heroes.

I got the Rocket and Groot ones for XMAS. I mainly collect Marvel Legends, but at that time a Groot wasn't announced yet. My brother collects those figures because they are cheaper, but I try to focus on Marvel Legends.

Piledriver finally arrived and has a QC issue. Has 2 upper left thighs so if I want his right leg to go straight down I have to turn the piece connected to his hip backwards.

So as a kid I was a huge fan of the Xmen cartoon and action figures. Needless to say my favorite was Jubilee. It wasn't until I was older that I realized how unbearablely annoying the character could be lol. The original wave of Xmen figures came in about '90 so I wasn't even born yet lol. But I remember being about 3 when I got the Gambit and Storm figures. They were so simple but the "action features" very pretty thrilling for a kid. When I got a bit older I expected a Jubilee to be released in the original set. But they'd already begun to spawn into the needless amount of sub series. 2099, Gen X, Steel Mutants ect...I was just never satisfied with the Jubilee action figures released. Of the three made, none of them featured her in her classic blue shorts and boots, pink shirt and yellow jacket. The Generation X came close but as a kid I hated how bulky and awkward it looked. I came across this varient cover of an Xmen comic. It's literally exactly what I wanted as a kid. I can even see a "spark action" Jubilee haha. Seeing as how a few figures from that golden 90s era of action figures featured a spark action. I believe it started with Captain Planet which actually was recalled from a spark hazard lol. I would have loved to walk into Kay Bee and found this! Way to go with makin my inner child cry over what could have been haha! Still to this day we haven't gotten a decent Jubilee. There is literally no Jubilee figure that had this iconic character look.

Nah, Marvel started pumping out these "Carded Toy Variant" covers in... I wanna say an issue of Fearless Defenders in '13. There's been quite a few, though I think this was the first that used the classic X-Men Toy Biz carding.
This particular one's for an issue of X-Men '92, which on paper sounds like the best idea ever; A continuation of the awesome X-Men The Animated Series universe. However, it's being written by a misogynistic piece of crap who's work I decided to boycott before the book even came out. It sucks, because I love XMTAS and I read every X-Book. I wish they'd just let the Bowers dude write it himself.
I wish Marvel would pull a Mattel and release some figures in the older style. But if they do, I hope they give Cyke a better battery for his visor, because I would buy a new Scott every time the battery would go out on his visor. But, there's nothing wrong with having 6 Cyclops figures!

I totally agree. The Gen X figure is huge with the rest of the figures.
My hope is that this is coming with the Marvel Legends line since they said they were getting the whole 90s team out. I'm assuming the BAF doesn't count and that we'll finally see an iconic Jubilee at some point over the next couple of years.

I'm assuming the BAF doesn't count and that we'll finally see an iconic Jubilee at some point over the next couple of years. I despise the BAF haha. Way overpriced for a half rate figure. Yeah Jubilee has had many costumes but I can't believe it's been almost 30 years and literally no figure of her in her most recognized costume. And yeah that Generation X figure didn't bother me much as a kid. But now I look and it's just so awkward. Her arms and legs are sprea out, her jacket adds a lot of bulk to her small frame and the face it terrible haha. But hey for the 90s, I was just glad to have a Jubilee. The second Jubilee I remember getting was the Robotic Fighter? (Ah Robot Fighter. I was close!) I think that was the series. Toy Biz had like a billion sub series. Anyway, she had just about as awkward of a pose. I'll try and grab a pic and add it. Even as a 6 year old, I hated that pose haha. The face was loads better than the Generation X version. But wtf? There was literally no way to sit her or stand her. How this person got her to stand is beyond me lol. The only figure I have found that pleases the Jubilee fan in me is the Minimates toy. It's so perfectly true to her costume it's crazy! Even the sunglasses are spot on! I wish they were removable but it looks really slick anyway. It's literally everything id have wanted in a Jubilee figure when I was a kid. I'm not a fan of Minimates but I like it... I know there was a Jubilee included in a box set back in the 90s. Everyone was in the same outfit so once again her iconic get up was passed by. I didn't own that one or know about it as a kid. The only other Jubilee toy I had was a McDonalds Jubilee in a motorcycle. It was actually pretty neat to me haha.
