Had some great Marvel Legends scores this week. Finally picked up the Jim Lee Jean Grey and found an Archangel (hit monkey) MOC for only $45. Also grabbed a bunch of other loose ones at various toy shops around the Indianapolis area while I've been here for the week on business including the old Marvel Legends Phoenix, Series 6(?) Beast and Pizza Spidey.

. . ![](http://www.marveltoys.net/pics/136/6.jpg) Even as a 6 year old, I hated that pose haha. The face was loads better than the Generation X version. But wtf? There was literally no way to sit her or stand her. How this person got her to stand is beyond me lol... I was in college when I bought this figure, lol. I think it's almost 20 years old?

The new TRU Groot has been spotted in TRUs now, shouldn't be too hard to find. There was like at least 20 of them in a photo some guy took.

Cool pic thanks for sharing. I agree it's a shame Jubilee and some of the other X-men Animated Series characters never got figures back in the day, or only got really bad ones. This particular one's for an issue of X-Men '92, which on paper sounds like the best idea ever; A continuation of the awesome X-Men The Animated Series universe. However, it's being written by a misogynistic piece of crap who's work I decided to boycott before the book even came out. It sucks, because I love XMTAS and I read every X-Book. I wish they'd just let the Bowers dude write it himself. Interesting to hear your viewpoint. I'm a huge X-men fan and XMTAS fan myself but never really got into reading comics so haven't read X-men '92 nor anything else written by the guy. Could you expand more? I'd like to hear examples of the kind of misogynism you speak of in this guys work so I can get more of an idea what you mean

It's the usual ML price, I've been trying to call Toys R Us but those idiots won't pick up the phone so I may have to go and check mine out.

My pick ups for the month. A little bit of everything so sorry if it's not strictly Marvel but needless to say I went a little overboard with the spending. I'll chalk it up to a late Christmas and birthday present to myself. All really awesome figures. ![](https://i.imgur.com/hUXZ8t3.jpg)

All the stores here are garbage, the only thing they had was the Dr. Strange wave. I was hoping one would have the Spiderman but nope, last time I go figure hunting lol I'll buy everything online from now on. Except the Walgreens exclusive cuz my Walgreens gets them pretty quick.

Yep I reckon it's 20 this year haha. It's scary to think we are a few years away from 2000 being 20 years ago! And I totally agree Assassin, Toybiz had so many figures that were awful haha. Not to mention the many many many Wolverines they released. He was about as bad as John Cena in terms of action figures. As a kid I liked the all the punching and kicking actions they had. But now they are a hazard haha. I still have Gambit and his leg swings like crazy lol. Surprisingly though, my Storm still lights up! I've had her about 20 years. It's dim but she still lights up!

So as a kid I was a huge fan of the Xmen cartoon and action figures. Needless to say my favorite was Jubilee. It wasn't until I was older that I realized how unbearablely annoying the character could be lol. The original wave of Xmen figures came in about '90 so I wasn't even born yet lol. But I remember being about 3 when I got the Gambit and Storm figures. They were so simple but the "action features" very pretty thrilling for a kid. When I got a bit older I expected a Jubilee to be released in the original set. But they'd already begun to spawn into the needless amount of sub series. 2099, Gen X, Steel Mutants ect...I was just never satisfied with the Jubilee action figures released. Of the three made, none of them featured her in her classic blue shorts and boots, pink shirt and yellow jacket. The Generation X came close but as a kid I hated how bulky and awkward it looked. I came across this varient cover of an Xmen comic. It's literally exactly what I wanted as a kid. I can even see a "spark action" Jubilee haha. Seeing as how a few figures from that golden 90s era of action figures featured a spark action. I believe it started with Captain Planet which actually was recalled from a spark hazard lol. ![](http://i.ebayimg.com/images/i/201527990865-0-1/s-l1000.jpg) I would have loved to walk into Kay Bee and found this! Way to go with makin my inner child cry over what could have been haha! Still to this day we haven't gotten a decent Jubilee. There is literally no Jubilee figure that had this iconic character look. I moved this to the Official Marvel thread. I always hated these comic covers, because they always looked better than the actual action figures. lol

They're doing the same thing with Power Ranger comic covers haha. So far I've seen the Rangers, Rita and Scorpina. Makes me wish they would have made Rita and Scorpina in the original wave lol.

You have the new MK Scorpion figure before me... I officially hate you ![;)](http://www.wrestlingfigs.com/images/wink.gif) Which one is it? I'm interested in it too. lol That would be the Storm Collectibles Scorpion! The articulation on it is a thing of beauty. Definitely worth a purchase. On topic anyone picking up the Mezco Punisher or Daredevil coming out in Feb? I pre-ordered both and chose the previews exclusive Punisher as all the weapons it comes with gave me an idea for an armory diorama I'd like to make for my detolf.
