Never really have proper nightmares but I always dream, its a rare night I dont dream.
I'd just try and go to bed in a light mood, watch something funny on TV or something or even have some man time before bed.

I actually still have them once in a while, sometimes my family says I scream in the middle of the night. Strange how I don't remember it.

The louder I snore, the worse the dream is for me.
The last two nightmares I had were:
-My dad and I were driving down a dirt road, and we pulled up to a stop sign. I turn my head and see a run down two (or three) story house. For some reason my dad thought it would be a good idea to go into it so he put the car on the side of the road, and told me to follow him. We hesitantly went in, and there was blood on the walls, with holes in them as well. We walk upstairs and walk past a room, and my great grandma was standing at the window (she's been gone since 2008), and we walk past another room and we see my Aunt Jennifer (who died when she was 2), and the next room we walk past and the Devil was standing there and he took my dad into the room. I never finished that nightmare because I woke up right as he took my dad.
-The second one I had I was my brother (for some reason) and it was a first person POV dream. My brother is serving in Afghanistan, and we had to go through the slummiest and most dangerous town. I hopped in the Humvee with 5 other soldiers, and check my phone. All of a sudden we hear a big boom and I looked away. When I looked again, the driver and the two guys I was sitting next to were dead. The front seat passenger and I got out and got on the walkie talkie, requesting backup but before we could finish the call, we were ambushed. I woke up right away and messaged my brother asking if he was ok.

Well, I've slept like a baby the past two nights so maybe the prayer/meditation/exercise thing just took a while to work.

i have dreams pretty much every night but rarely nightmares.
one nightmare i ALWAYS get is my teeth falling out. it stinks because it feels so real. it's like my mind remembers exactly what it was like as a kid to have loose teeth and gaps and replicates it to perfection. scumbag brain.

I don;'t know if this counts as nightmare or what, but I recently had a dream of me falling down from an elevator and I woke up with my heart pounding rapidly and it literally feels like my heart was about to come out! Very, very scary moment!
