Get us the sku # while you're at it. They will have the same item/sku numbers at TRU as past BoPPV and Elite series. And the e23 will have the same DPCI as past Elites at Target. So all you really need is the UPC's to have TRU check their computer. But even if they say they have them in stock it could just be the past series. But if you want them go to TRU.com and look at any Elite or BoPPV figure and click on the additional information and you'll find them.

only if they actually look at what they have. If you give them the UPC it'll switch in their system to whatever the 6 digit inventory numbers are for the Elites and BoPPV elites. Then they can say if they have stock or not, but they'd actually have to check the aisle or open a case in the back and see what's in it to know who they have.

Personally when I call I ask for an employee who always helps me when I am there and ask him. And when I just go to the store I'll check the aisle first and if they don't have the one I am looking for I'll look for him and ask if they have more in back or when they get their next truck. The man is very helpful.

I can count on one hand how many times a TRU employee has been helpful.

At my local store and the two stores down in NJ I used to go to growing up (Livingston & Totowa) always help me out. And honestly since moving to NY 15 years ago and having to deal with the people from T0y W1z hitting the area stores daily it's how I got most of my Batman, CSTT & CSDA and most of the popular hard to find figures. During the holidays two years ago one of the managers gave me the stores "employees" number and told me to call that number after the store closed or before they opened and if it was on the truck they'd hold it for me. I never actually used it until the Saturday I got my West 66' Batman figures. I was running late so I called them at 8:50am and asked if they had received them on that nights truck and he said they just put them on the pegs so I asked him to hold them for me and he went and pulled one of each for me. But even with Target and WalMart around here I never have any trouble getting an employee to check the stockroom for me. The only stores I've ever heard that "only what's out" line was at the Target across from the Woodbridge mall and the rt17 TRU (and with that TRU it is only one lady that says that to me) I find if you treat employees with respect and aren't rude or talk down to them they are always willing to help me. There's a girl at TRU who has held figures I had inquired about for me (Yoko, the last wave of DCUC 2-Packs and a few other thing) and I got my E16 Nash from KMart from an employee there who took my number and text me saying he was holding a Nash for me the day they received their cube. (of course that same night I received a Nash from a friend who had picked it up for me in Buffalo) If not for that I would have never seen Nash. (saw plenty of Diesel's)
