another one is Pat Patterson and Gerald Brisco during their quest for the Hardcore Championship. They had to go to extreme lengths in an evening gown match to get the title which they lost to Crash Holly

Sting vs Hogan would rank very highly for me had Starrcade 1997 and the booking of Sting in 1998 not been so disasterous.Bischoff showed incredible patience to sit on this match for 15 months.......then blew it.
although as documented it wasn't all on him.the convoluted ending was the result of Hogans creative control/political machinations and Sting(according to many)was far from ring fit.

1. Hogan and Andre 2. WCW Vs. nWo 3. Austin Vs. McMahon 4. Hogan and Macho Man 5. Kane and Undertaker (the feud that took them to WM 14)
So many more I can name but I'll leave it at that.
