This solution may be common knowledge but we ran into this problem multiple times with YouTube blocking our videos from being available on mobile devices, TVs, tablets, etc. because we were using copyrighted music during the wrestler entrances.
We looked around for a solution that didn't involve changing the pitch and tone of the music and couldn't find one. Through some trial and error we finally discovered that if you layer in some crowd noise over the entrance music, the YouTube audio detection software won't recognize the copyrighted song and you can upload the video and make it available everywhere. There are two clear benefits to this technique:
1. - You get to produce a more realistic TV-like broadcast with the actual, high-quality entrance music (with minimal distortion)
2. - If you want to monetize your videos with ads, you can do that and keep the money instead of having the ad revenue go to the copyright holder!
Again, this may all be common knowledge, but we had a hard time finding a solution, so we decided to post the info here and hopefully share some knowledge.
If you want to see/hear the result using a previously flagged song, you can check out the video we just posted. Hope it helps.
